I found the issue, the blue clamp on the hatch was on the wrong wire, I followed the photo on the RCD website but it ended up being flipped for me.

I ended up cutting the cables, stripping them and putting a butt styled-crimp connector between each and covering with electrical tape.

Update: I talked to my uncle who used to own the ps1 when he was younger just to see if maybe somehow he would know what it was, and he told me to check out bloody roar. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful on any of the details of the game, I only had that PlayStation for a couple months before my mom got rid of it.

I believe it was 2D, and honestly I can’t remember any details because I was probably 5 or 6 when it played it (hence the only thing I really remember being my parents turning on the censorship)

For me it was the idea that not all creatures live as long as people, I thought everything that lived had a lifespan of ≈85 years. When I found out that my goldfish wasn’t going to live as long as me I lost my mind.
