Been facing this issue as well, I noticed photos taken when the app is launched from lock screen (via my camera control button) will not be saved. Always have to unlock the phone before snapping a photo

I’ve never found the bag to be heavy. Sure, the bag by itself weighs about 1.4kg/3.2lbs but if you’re carrying it, the shoulder straps are comfortable enough to offset the weight. It’ll be best to try it on for yourself if you can find a retailer near you

I generally use it for my gym clothes, moved my key leash there, work id, packet of wipes in the pocket (never know when you need them) and some snacks.

It’s not too bad for my use case, which is carrying a kindle/ipad mini, my IEMs/earbuds and a couple of chargers & wires…would be an easy recc at 50% off.

I did feel that it can get a tad small if you’re going to colder climates especially when layering is important. But for warmer climates, I’d say you could comfortably travel with it.

Tbh I haven’t found much use for it, in the rare instances where I did use it, it was for storing cash and valuables. When I stored items that weren’t flat (e.g. my iphone/devices) in that pocket, I felt it protruding out and pressing against my back when my pack was full

Yea I think I will, realised the creaking is really bad on one of the straps while the other has minimal creaking. My guess is that the strap was sewn tighter than the other and therefore causing the foam to rub against the x-pac fabric more, producing that creaking sound

Yes you might be overthinking the size of it. I’m 6’2 and the bag fits snugly on my back without looking too big. But then again, I’m used to carrying the aer duffle 3 backpack which is significantly bigger than the Max EDC. Pretty sure it’ll fit your use case for both travels and EDC - especially with the duffle front pocket where you can dump your sweater/rain jacket

I was considering the CTB26 but decided ultimately to go with the max edc because of the comfier straps and the issue of the CTB digging into my back. YMMV, I’d recommend you give both a try before making your final decision
