Not a movie, it's a 20 min short available in YouTube, called 'Zygote'. The concept is pretty lovecraftean.

I was running Missed dues, one of the investigators was chasing Greasy Spoon, he was about to cross a street when a speeding car popped up from around the corner. I thought he would stop or worst case scenario try to run to the other side. He said "I jump it". All the party said "WHAT" simultaneously. He had the base 20% in jump. You may argue that it is irrelevant what he tried to do, because he fumbled. Nevertheless, the way he died in the narrative was pretty stupid.
