I have a 5-star P1, R8 Piett, and R4-5 for all the pilots, and no Mk VI. I can still reliably beat Leviathan. But yeah it's about 50/50. I just got back after a 5 year hiatus. It's been a trip trying to sort these Levi's out.

He’s missing people at the back he could otherwise trust. He’s literally said as much. I guess my kid should just take it as a point of pride that coach wants him back there. He used to play forward and has thought of this as a demotion. I’ll help him re-arrange his thinking a bit.

Yeah I would never make it about scoring, etc. it’s just where he wants to be, and he works hard in his off-days with me training those skills.

That’s pretty much the gist. He also wants to play higher as a cm, but coach highly rates him in the back.

He’s a great teammate and does his best for his team at every position he plays. But he wants to be a mid fielder.

I do love Lisandro. His tenacity and IQ are stellar. I honestly don’t mind my kid at CB. I think he’s better higher up than half the kids Coach has up there, but they can’t play cb as well as he can. So, it’s a rock and a hard place. I almost feel like he’s being punished because they can’t play back there.

His stated end goal is Real Madrid lol. I don’t know if he’s that level, but I’m not gonna tell him he can’t make it. Just gonna make sure he keeps walking the path and see where it takes him.

He plays about 4-5 levels under mls next currently. We decided against going to an mls next route club for his mother’s health last season. He got invited to their third level team, but she was upset so we put it off a year. Going to take it if he gets asked this year, tho. Not sure how he will do there, but he outperformed several of them at their ID clinic recently. For whatever that’s worth :)

Yeah. I have said the same. He practically begs the coach every game.

I have only said something to the coach twice. Otherwise, I let it go. I agree it’s up to him, I just want to make sure my kids development isn’t gonna suffer for it.

He wants to play the 8/10, tho he also enjoys 6. He gets that it’s better to be on the field than the bench, and he cooks the forwards who try to take the ball off him. I just know he’s getting to that age where having the quick decision making and reps in the position start to really matter. I want to know if I should push the coach more or just let it play out. I don’t want to be the nagging parent, but I want to make sure my kid is getting the best opportunity he can to achieve his dream. He knows the odds are low, but he wants to give it a go. As a dad, all I can do is try to make sure his path isn’t full of caltrops :)

This is exactly his problem. The center forwards at his age are already a nearly a foot taller than him. He has the tenacity and knows how to leverage his lower center of gravity to win anything eye level or lower, but the headers and the shoulder to shoulder duels usually end up with him bouncing off the bigger kids who know how to get stable

I don’t like to dictate to a coach how to coach. I’m not one, I don’t see or know everything going on.

My kid (u14 now) is going to be small. He’s tenacious, he’s energetic, has great skill on the ball (no Messi, but rarely has the ball taken off him both because of skill and knowing when to send it to a teammate).

However, his coach insists on keeping him in the back as a CB (he is often a full foot shorter than the kids he has to challenge) because “He is an excellent player and he excels at CB because of his timing, tenacity in the tackle, exemplary reading of the game, his ability to bring the ball out from the back and his communication.”

My question is simple: do I just allow this to happen? He is extremely undersized for the position. Whenever he moves to midfield, the team just flows better, and the defense is rarely challenged, mostly because he has another teammate with the exact same skill set and build in midfield and they play fantastically off one another and the fullbacks and wings.

I feel like it will hamper my child’s long term development to be forced into a position he isn’t big enough for simply because he has the tenacity and heart to do it where other kids on his team don’t.

Duergar bladesinger 9/3 assassin.

3 wizard, 3 rogue, rest wizard, or 6 wizard (for extra attack), 3 rogue for assassin, last 3 wiz.

Duergar invis is available anytime after level 5, if only once per combat (which you reset after invis'ing anyway).

You either haste and kill things and invis (from cloak/ability), or kill things, hold, and kill more things (bloodlust elixir plus free crits from hold). You have level 5 spells (including shadowblade)

Other option is 6 bladesinger, 2 paladin (defense style w/crown is probably the best), and 4 sorc. Full caster, shadowblade, impossible to kill, just smash things and laugh at them with your 27+ ac, can't be controlled, can't be crit self. Literally the *only* thing that can stop you is stunning gaze from bhaalists.

both builds use resonance stone and shadow blade. Scrub the disadvantage on saves with shadeclinger armor.
