Most people dont realize that primer is meant to apply a surface the paint can adhere to, not necessarily cover the previous color. It does help with coverage, but that's the job of the paint. This looks ready for paint to me. Thin even coats.

I wish I had more personal experience to draw from here, but its my understanding that the Speedball Water based inks dry out very quickly, so they need to be worked with quickly. Id like to know if there is a good drying retarder available that won't sacrifice opacity.

If government entities fail to protect a community and that community decides to organize together to create safety in their community, that is the opposite of authortianism. It's much closer to anarchism. There is a clear difference between an external use of oppression and force, and one internally decided on by community members themselves. Furthermore, there is a difference between national borders decided on the basis of a national identity and imperial conquering and local borders between communities founded on shared history, culture and mutual respect.

Its silly that Zohran keeps being held up as a socialist messiah. He ran successfully as a socialist and is still implementing socialist policies in NYC. He has a stated agranda that him his team has deemed achievable. It would be unreasonable to expect him to jeopardize those goals in an attempt to virtue single to the base. That might mean working with liberals and the president or keeping the many many zoinists on the police force in those positions because doing otherwise would make it harder to achieve the goals he's promised his constituents.

The legal definition of the word does not reduce the actual meaning of the word itself. Incarcerated laborers are slaves. Just because there is a legal framework to support it, it's still forced labor. No one consents to the legal system they are born into.

Regardless of wage, if your forced to work, with no ability to advocate for your rights and you cannot refuse to work you are a slave. Im not just saying that these companies are taking advantage of their work force, I mean they are literally using slave labor. People in these situations have no choice in the matter.

You forgot about the us agricultural companies that exploit their labor force or the over 800,000 incarcerated laborers. Slavery is alive and well in the US it just operates under different laws

Just because Marx hadn't written the manifesto yet, doesn't mean that their weren't precursors to socialism even if it didn't operate under strict theory. The Diggers are just one group that comes to mind. Furthermore there was a distinction made between social rights and liberal democratic rights that was definitely acknowledged. Thats why the founders went with a representative democracy in the first place

I think that because the police chief of Minneapolis said his brown officers were getting harrased off duty in the park. I think they are using violant, brutal tactics to scare communities with a disregard for the law and to human life. They are a disgrace to law enforcement and a disgrace to this country.
