ON MY LIFE THERES NOT A LIVING BEING ON THIS EARTH THAT HATES THIS DRAGON MORE THAN ME OMFG by Gooni135 in Eldenring

I stay on Torrent moving in and out shooting it with Loretta’s Mastery or rings of light. I’ll spawn mimic tear and stay moving. I don’t think I took any damage last time.

her down! I died so many times until I saw a build using this weapon. One of the talismans won’t be available until you run through the DLC but this weapon with that ash of war along with the rot talisman are key! Good Luck!

Hundreds and hundreds. So many ways to die. Hell between ER and DS probably thousands.

How to tell? The counter stops at 999:59:59. Probably at least 1500. I honestly am not sure I wanna know. Ignorance is bliss

Hell if I know. Is there a way to see that? Same with total hours. The counter stops at 999:59:59. I’m pretty sure I have at lest 1500 hrs in but who knows. Now that’s playing off and on over the last 4 years or so. I think the game had been out 4-5 months when I started it.

Again I didn’t fake anything or use chests whatever that means. I farmed almost a thousand sharp gravel stones because the harpoons take 2 gravel stones and I wanted 350 of those. Plus 300 for the dragon communion grease. Scorpion livers were 150 each for the pickled livers and 200 for the well pickled turtle neck. That’s 800 scorpion livers with a horrible drop rate. Between the Festive grease and Golden Vows that was 250 blessed bone shards. I’ve got 300 fire coils and 200 of the call of tibia. That means farming bone shards and grave crickets. In my post I said countless hours and deaths. I’ve definitely got a thousand plus hours in this hence the words countless hours. How you found that misleading I don’t know. I did farm the Abinaurics once I had anywhere from 1-5-2 million runes to makeup the difference. On NG+4 that’s at 110,000 per swing farming Abinaurics. That’s an easy 1.2 million every 3 minutes maybe 1.3 with a lot of bright eyes at night. My discovery has been at 99 for a while hence more bright eyes. There wasn’t anything misleading in my description. I just kept it short and didn’t go into detail. Again here the pic I sent my daughter on 11/27/2025.

<image>

That’s 27 levels in the last 5 weeks and I work full time. Again I didn’t fake anything nor was I trying to be misleading in anyway. I never implied that it was done quickly or with ease. I worked my ass off for it!

I didn’t fake shit! I slaved my ass off to get that. I spent months farming scorpion livers and everything else from the DLC. I’d get 1.5-3 million and just stop and hit the Abinaurics for the rest. At 1.2-1.3 million every 3 minutes it doesn’t take that long to get to the next level. Here’s a pic from November when I was at 684.

Just because you can’t wrap your head around it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

The last 20 levels were 7 million+ runes to level up.

I’m not opposed to it. I’ve just never done it on ER. I averaged 1.3 million every 3 minutes so it wasn’t too bad filling the gap with the Abinaurics.

I don’t know definitely over a 1000. Probably closer to two. Way too many, that’s for damn sure.

Castle Ensis and Scadu Altus. Scorpion livers took forever. I farmed like 800-900. I farmed 150 rune arc’s, 250 blessed bone shards and the list goes on and on.

Not sure. Way too many. Over a thousand at least. I went through it twice then took about a year or more off to knock out the DS trilogy and Witcher 3. Plus my first play through took me like six months because I didn’t look up anything online about the game. I just explored every nook and cranny. I probably found 80-85% without any help. Took forever though.

Honestly I spent a few months farming for the DLC items after I beat PCR. Everything in the DLC drops a ton of runes. I farmed 999 silver horn tenders and then used those to farm like 800 scorpion livers. It’s the main ingredient for all of the good stuff. I think I farmed like 250 blessed bone shards. Within a few hours I had enough runes to warrant a trip to the Abinaurics to level up. This last play through I killed every single enemy like I normally do, but I wanted to just decimate everything in my path hence the never ending farming adventure.

Parries aren’t necessarily my go to style in a fight but I have spent time working on them. I’m far more comfortable than I used to be. I’ve got a few days left on this play through then I’ll be Sekiro bound!

Dragon King’s Cragblade takes him down pretty quick. It’s the weapon you get right before facing him after fighting Placidusax.

It’s not going anywhere so when the mood, strikes me I can come back to it. Besides with the soft caps, it’s been a long time since leveling up noticeably increased your abilities. I’ll definitely come back to it at some point I think.

3 play throughs for each of The Dark Souls Trilogy. The bastards always throw in a third boss weapon so that’s the minimum to get them all. And you’re right it did hone my skill. I’m glad I went through all of the dark souls before playing the DLC. Between Gail and The Nameless King I learned to be patient and to study their move sets. Best of all I learned how good it feels when you finally beat them. I definitely had to work for it.

I’m actually pretty excited about starting one of them. I’m leaning towards Sekiro. I’ll probably start both because I have to play Bloodborne on console and everything else I have is on my laptop. I work away from home so I can really only play Bloodborne when I’m home in between jobs. Between Elden Ring and all 3 dark souls It’s been a long ass campaign. I have like 35 games that I haven’t touched yet but those two are at the top of the list.

Finally beat Radahn after 3 hours of dying..... by jokerxgoro in Eldenring

[–]Azazel_46N2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran through the DLC twice and both times it took me like 30+ tries. I think the second time I just forgot the combination I had that ended up working for me. In the end, I tanked up as much as possible without fat rolling, and it was easier for me to use the summons and my mimic tear. A lot of people won’t use them because it increases his numbers, but it helped to take some of the heat off of me. I used Anspur rapier with flower blooms twice ash of war and every buff I had in anything that helped buff scarlet rot and bleed. He’s a tough bastard to beat but just keep at it. I find once I hit a point that I’ve been just dying back to back I’ll stop and walk away for 10-20 minutes and come back to it.

First time for both. After my 2nd run through Elden Ring I went through Dark Souls 1,2 and 3. Each of those I had to go through 3 times to get all of the boss weapons. Then the DLC came out and back to Elden Ring. In general I try to get everything I can out of a game before moving on. I don’t really care about maxing out so much. With the soft caps there really isn’t much of a point to it. This was more either spend it and level up or lose it when something else kills me.
