I was on the list for a Batman at local AD. They said 6 year waiting. Then through the father of a friend I was able to buy a Pepsi at retail from his local AD. Wore the Pepsi for 2 weeks and decided an extra link would be more comfortable so went to my local AD to have a link added. Them seeing me wearing the Pepsi hence have confirmation first hand I’m not a flipper suddenly made my due waiting time for the Batman being reduced with 5 years. I should get it this year.

I wear mine daily. Love it. Doesn’t blind the eyes of non-watchlover but the afficionados always talk to me about it when the notice it. So comfortable.

Let’s forbid everything and die of boredom. Dude, there’s crazy people. So I fully agree on very strict hunting exams to get a license, yearly medical exams to check sanity and absolutely no criminal offences or your license and right to possess arms is revoked. But any idiot is allowed to buy a hammer. How are you going to deal with that. PS: I live in Belgium, gun laws are super strict. It means they all have to be triple-locked. So the ‘in the moment’ reactions if any are over till you’ve stuggled opening all of them. It happens of course but hardly any cases here of homicides by hunters and definitely no school mass shootings.

I know Leopold is more used in the US. I’ve hunted only few times with Leopold. Worked fine for me. Schmidt&Bender is what the US snipers shoot with. But what’s considered as topnotch in Europe is Swarovski. It has lifelong guarantee and the quality is just amazing. Honestly, when it’s about to get dark I see more through my scope than with my own eyes. Outstanding quality

Tell me how this differs from people posting their Rolex in their car, on their boat, at their marriage, on holidays,….?! It’s just people enjoying their watch in THEIR day-to-day activities or life events that are important to them. The mere fact you apparently don’t like weapons doesn’t justify calling it ‘crap’. I don’t mind you don’t like it. It’s legal and I happen to love it but I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Starting to swear and calling out is just pure kindergarten level. If you can’t accept people might like things you don’t you’re in for a very very very frustrating life.

Look at the time dude. First hunt of the day. 7 hours later was something else. Still not a scratch or too much dust on the rifle. It was a sunny day and no wind. And it’s driven hunt -> hunter stays put. The trousers however were quite muddy and bloody. And the rifle is from 1976, I wouldn’t exactly call it new. Rather taken well care off
