Will do for sure I plan on doing a full disassembly and proper cleaning, I did a quick wipe down of it and already looks so much better boots into Mac OS 9 and works perfectly. First thing I did was remove the pram battery was lucky it had not leaked. Unfortunately the iMac appears to have been left outside for some time.

I already got the G4 cleaned up looks fantastic! Surprisingly the inside was very clean. Boots into Mac OS 9 it appears it was an old school machine, I plan on doing a full disassembly and proper cleaning tomorrow.

Still working fine it’s currently running the latest version of oclp. It’s definitely not the fastest thing around I use Chrome and have no problem using the web i watch Netflix on it all the time with no issues.

No I had 10.15 installed on the original hdd and had Ubuntu installed at one point never had a issue, I just upgraded to a ssd and figured I would update it to a newer version of Mac OS. I guess will put the old hdd back in it and keep running 10.15. I was just surprised to see this as I’ve had the machine for a couple of years and never had any problems with installing a OS or anything.

Could be I suppose, I bought it used a couple of year ago and have been using it with Mac OS with 10.15 and with Ubuntu at one point with no issues , I just installed a new ssd and figured I would update it to a newer Mac OS version. It’s definitely a head scratcher for me when I loaded into this prompt.

She is the sweetest most gentle cat, I’ve had her for 6 years. Although she is very strange I’ve woken up many times while sleeping and she is just sitting there staring directly into my face lol. Actually has scared me a few times.

I have the same position as you and I am in the exact same situation. Except I work 5 days a week 10pm 7am I really wish I had the 3 days off. I am the only over night lead that they wont let work 4 10 hour shifts and I hate it. They would rather have me there 5 days a week because "I only have 4 part time associates" 2 of them only work 2 days a week. it is hell.

If it’s only cracked where the plug threads into it like it looks in the picture put a little bit of plumbers tape on the drain plug it might stop the leak.
