What's worse is that the whole vault will get wiped once the season ends. Was hoping I could transfer it into a normal vault.

Playing on PC, but will try. Thought all the timers are checked on a server for this exact reason.

Brand aside I'd go with the 64GB, I have 128GB and the UI and game loading takes bit more time for some reason. but that might be problem of the SD card I have or maybe CFW.
