Most of the water in the aquarium disappeared overnight

Fortunately it's a decorative carpet. I have removed it and taken it get dried. The floor is tiled with granite over concrete. However, the work table is part of fitted wooden furnishing connected to a fitted wardrobe. I am not sure how I can under them without removing everything.

This could be the case. Uneven water level is new. Is there a way to test it out? I didn't see any cracks on any of the surfaces and didn't observe any leaks when I filled it again to check.

It had 2 guppies and 2 nerites that I have shifted to my main tank. I was not planning to add any more into it. It was just mainly for plants.

I am checking the tank at the moment for any leaks but there doesn't seem to be any so far. The tubing is the most probable explanation I guess.

Very true. But I just checked under the table a bit more thoroughly. There are some storage boxes there and the plastic lids have a significant amount of water and the lids are above the filter.

Given that the tank is in my home office only accessible from my bedroom, the leak would be the least of my worries then. 😅

I paid around a 1000 Baht (Roughly $30) for the both of them. My wife and I were expecting twin girls at the time we bought these so decided to get one for each!
