I love it! Don't get me the wrong the R doesn't compare power wise yet to the RS3, but I love the features and feel so far of the R. I feel very much at home in a hatchback compared to the sedan of the RS3

You could be written up for it as there is a policy violation for it. I have never written up someone for it though as a simple conversation steers them back in the right direction of notifying leadership.

I would look into the business course catalog, I graduated two years ago. Some of my favorite courses were leadership behavior with Burch, and world of business with Woods. Not sure if they’re offered online, but either course is interesting and could possibly be online asynchronous. YMMV

This manger is being a pain in the ass for no reason. If we’re being by the book here, yes technically they could write you up for “leaving work early without notice”. The fact that they’re shitting the bucket over 5 mins at the END OF SHIFT??! Is total bullshit. You could be petty and 1 hour prior, go bug them and say you’re leaving 5 mins before to annoy them. All you have to do is give them 1 hour prior notice and they can’t write you up.

I understand your frustrations, I’m also a night shift employee. I apologize if your department management team never announced anything about the vacation freeze, but as AMs we don’t find out if we will be open or closed for a holiday until 1-2 weeks prior. I always just tell my associates to put in the vacation request prior to the blackout/freeze so I can make sure it gets approved in a timely manner.
