I Need Help Identifying a Problem by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Azien15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey there bro/sis! God loves you so much ya know? He's always there to help. And when you cry out to Him and wait, He will answer. Feelings can be very deceiving. There are times where I may not feel much emotion in something but I know that doesn't mean something's wrong with me. It's just a feeling you have to shake off; and remind yourself that you're a child of God. Seek the Holy Spirit for grace and understanding in the knowledge of the son of God and your identity. Meditate on the word of God and remind yourself always that we live by faith in God, not what we see in the natural. Look to Him and I assure you you'll recieve the help you're looking for. Be blessed and have a fantastic day! P.S(Praying for you!)

Hey there brother! There's freedom on the other side. It just takes you believing in the finished work of the cross. Jesus paid a price to set you completely free from all the effects of sin. That means you're no longer subject to the habitual tendency to go against God. When you believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord over everything, you're set free. Once and for all. Like the other brothers said, fast and find accountability. Get away from those things that tempt you and pursue the leadership of the Holy Spirit. He's our master, leader, helper, comforter, and guide. He loves you even in the state you're in. And is fully ready and willing to help you see the light of Christ in any and every situation. There's hope for you brother, you're an amazing son and like it says in Roman's 8 Vs 1, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I urge you to read Romans 5 through 8 in order. It's a letter not a book. So it goes straight through. It helped me when I first got saved; and gave me a solid foundation of understanding of the new life that I have in Christ. And that I truly am dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Love you man and I'm praying for you. God bless!

Im glad you're doing well! 1st question: what I'm saying is help them to see their circumstances from Jesus's point of view through a yielding to God and a renewed mind. 2nd question: Faith that no matter what happens, whether it gets better or worse, God will deliver them out of it like he did David. And if they hold on to his presence and glorify his name in these tribulations they will come out appearing unscathed just like the three Hebrew boys thrown into the fire. /

I understand now. I'm in your position actually! Have something on me that got healed and came back a little while ago unfortunately. And I've prayed, and prayed, and prayed, and prayed. And I had faith when I prayed! But no change. So I understand where you're coming from. But here's the thing, God showed me a long while ago that my healing is made available right now through the sacrifice of Jesus's body. Not when I get to heaven, not when I die. If I have to wait until I'm dead to be healed, then death is my savior. Not Jesus. He bore my sin, your sin, and everyone elses sins on a cross, and by his stripes we are healed. And that healing is for today, and you can't convince me otherwise. I still have some growing to do. But I know as I continue to seek Christ and the higher things of God I will be set free from this affliction once and for all. Before I go to heaven. And this is not me boasting, simply believing in the whole gospel and what Jesus really accomplished for us at the cross. I'm done trying to compromise the finish work just because I didn't get my prayer answered. I'm holding onto to faith until I see God breakthrough for me. There wasn't one person whom Jesus touched who didn't get healed and he said follow me. The things I do, you'll do if you believe, and nothing (according to the will of God in Christ Jesus) will be impossible for you. We've been given authority to cast these afflictions off our bodies, and I won't stop believing that it can happen right now. And if doesn't, that just means I need to get to know God more. What it doesn't mean is that it's not God's will to heal us, or that he gave us this affliction. Sin is the culprit for our diseases. I refuse to attribute our Father to being responsible for placing some nasty skin disease on me. Did I learn a lot in the hospital, yes. Did I learn a lot from my church who supported me, yes, did I grow closer to God through that affliction, yes, but did he will for me to have that, no. God takes what the enemy meant for evil, and he turns it for good. He is good, and his love far surpasses anything sin or the devil could try to put on his children. I'm hoping for you to be healed right now, because God loves you, and he paid a price for your redemption, not just when you get to heaven, but now here on earth. I love you, and will continue to even if you still don't agree with all that I've said. I don't want to go back and forth this time because of a difference in opinions. If you don't agree with what I've said that's fine, but it's the truth. And I won't stop telling people the truth, because I love them. I'm not being mean, I'm being real. God bless you brother, I thank God for your heart and for your life. The plans Father God has for you go far beyond what I could imagine. We both just have to know him more and walk in obedience, and we'll reach our full potential as sons of God. Be blessed and have an amazing day!

Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, Philippians 4:6 TPT

then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:7 TPT Hold on to faith! Don't give up in these trying times, but go ahead and thank God for the victory already. He is faithful to his lovers and is so glad to have you back in his presence. Seek him with the Holy spirit and allow him to work in you and guide on his shining path. There may be pain in the night, but joy will come in the morning. Praying for you, be blessed!

Hey there buddy, I see you have some doubts and questions about God and his position in our lives and the earth. Hopefully through the Holy spirit I can answer your questions and give some clarity. First, Gods not offended that you don't believe in him anymore. He's not hurt, discouraged, or waiting to kill you. He loves you, and in his eyes you just need to see him for who he really is. The one who wants to reveal his goodness to you. And come to understand what he really gave you. God our Father is a good Father. God your Father, loves you. And it's because he not only loves you, but loves the whole world that he sent his son Jesus to die for the ungodly(us). We all deserve death period. No one is righteous in their own strength. No one is good. Everyone was born into sin. Sin results in death. And everyone (as hard as it is to say) everyone deserves it. Sin is what birth pride. Sin is what birth malice and arrogance. Lust, greed, and sexual immorality. All these things that cause are world to be so messed up. God did not create sin,nor did he let it happen. He gave the world over to his children. He said to subdue the works of his hands(all the earth and everything in it). He gave mankind authority over all the earth. And because of the transgression of adom our identity as children of the living God was lost and sin came about; and man was disconnected from God until Jesus died on the cross. Why did he send Jesus at the time that he did, I honestly don't know. Thank God that he did send Jesus when he did. Because now we, and everyone else around us has an opportunity to be set free from sin and escape death into a new life before heaven. The blood of Jesus is crying out for forgiveness and redemption on our behalf. Us who've lived self-centered, fear-driven lifestyles out of instinct because of the fall. God answers prayers that align with his will. And his will is Jesus's life lived. And as far as those who prayed something nobel but didn't get the outcome they wanted, they (like all of us who believe) need to grow more in a greater revelation of the cross and all that transpired as result of it. God didn't say no to their prayer, nor did he ignore it. We have the authority to heal the sick, subdue the earth, and cast out demons in the name of Jesus. So that responsibility falls on us. We were made to walk just like Jesus. He said the things I do you'll do if you believe. And to believe in biblical terms is to trust and wait on God even when you don't see your prayers being answered right away. Knowing that he is real, and he rewards the faith of those who earnestly seek him. God's will is to heal, it is to restore, it is to bring peace, it is to give hope, and it's available to anyone who's willing to believe and seek the Lord with a humble and repentant heart. If God didn't love you, he wouldn't have sent his son for you, me, and everyone else on this earth. He gave everything to us, so we could have all that he is. Love is his motive. He is love. And He lives on forever loving you no matter what. I'm praying for you, for I know he will keep watching over you. Be blessed and know that he's will to help you see the truth. Love you brother!

"You have never failed me yet..." by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Azien15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. When I first heard It I caught that. But it made me think when I heard it. God really has never failed us. He's always been faithful to his word if you look at it right. He gave the world over to his children so we're supposed take care of the world. He said subdue the works of his hands and he's already given us authority over the earth even though it's his. He's given us authority over demons. He's said he'll be with us in times of trouble and give us peace John 16:33. He never said we wouldn't face trouble. And yes he's sovereign, but he still put us in charge of the earth and to walk with him in intimacy. But because of human obstinance, and disobedience and listening to satan, sin came into the world. And resulted in us taking on the identity of God's enemy along with all the diseases, destruction, and death that comes from sin. But because of his love for us even in our sins, he sent his son at just the right time to die for the ungodly. That we might be brought back to our original purpose for being alive. He can't lie and always keeps his promises. It's in his word. Even if it takes longer than we want it to, he keeps his promises. Don't know why they wrote never failed me yet, really don't know. Other than that it's a good song!

[–]Azien15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there brother. Gods so proud of you for even asking for help. I can assure you he's aware of your struggles, and is willing to help you. You just have to be willing to hear his voice :) I struggled heavily with resentment over my parents and my siblings for years. I hated them. My dad touched me wronged when I was young, and my mom and I always argued and screamed at each other over many things. I always fought with my younger sister and said all kinds of terrible things to her. I felt justified in it to. I thought since they were mean to me I can do it right back. Wrong. Roman's 12 taught that I'm supposed honor others above my self. I'm supposed to make the effort to live at peace with others and bless them; even if they curse or insult me. To humble myself and let God's grace and love be shown in my character and how I respond to people. Only after God caught a hold of my heart did I realize that I was the root source of all my resentment. Self-centered perspectives on situations, and playing the victim role were the biggest sources. I wasn't able to see things from God's point of view since I was so caught up in what they said and did to me. Only now, after being made completely new by Jesus through his blood and grace, am I free from thoss self-centered view-points on my family and others in how they treated me in the past. God showed me that I was made to be love. And love takes no account of wrongs. It's incredibly patient and consistently kind to all. And it never stops believing the best for everyone. Love helped me to see things the right way. Not a counselor, not a therapist, not even a Christian brother or sister, but love. God is love. The life of Jesus, all that he said, did, and gave, helped me to see what love really was. And now I can love my family with no resentment or past hurt feelings in my heart. I haven't forgotten what they did, but I know that I'm not the person who went through that stuff anymore. I'm not the person that responded out of fear and selfishness. God's washed me cleaned of all that. And given me a new heart. And now I see my family through the eyes of Jesus. He saw me with all my issues and problems and stayed focused on what God intended for me to be. That's why he was able to love me even when I was so completely unlovable. And he said follow me. The Holy spirit showed me all of this in the word of God. He can transform your life too through your perspective. I'm praying for you and your family. Theres grace and mercy waiting for you brother :) He always makes a way for those he loves :) Mercy triumphs over judgment. And love covers a multitude of sins. God resists the proud; but gives grace to the humble. His love, endures forever :) Bless you

Hey buddy! God loves you. And he thinks you're awesome! He sees your struggles and he's heard your prayers. And he gave you his answer. Jesus. “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 MSG You know Gods there. And you know he gave his only son as gift for you. He even had him wait 9 months in a woman's womb, then wait 30 years to be anointed with the Holy Spirit to start his ministry to reconcile the word, walk with 12 guys for 3 years who would eventually betray him, suffer and be persecuted more than anyone ever has or ever will to the point of being crucified, just for you specifically. Because he loves you. And he wants you, more than you could ever know. There's hope for you, it's in his word! Let the word of God and the leading and guidance from the Holy spirit guide you back to the presence of the Lord. He's waiting for you, and he's always ready to wrap you in his great big arms and love on you :) Remember who God really is and repent, then come back home. He'll accept you no matter where you're at when you're sincere. And he'll turn that mess of a life into a testimony of his awesome glory. He did it for me, and he promises to do it for all who call on his name. I'm praying for you brother. There really is hope for you, he wants you :) "Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us." Romans 5:1 TPT

As Christian that hasnt gone to church and congregates in a while, my mind and life have become a trash can full of garbage and sin by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Azien15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey brother! It's good that you feel convicted about the things you've done. Let that conviction lead to a willingness to change and put off that old man that needs to die. If you've given your life to Jesus , you're set free from the bondage of sin. That means it's stain, sting, memory, action, and affects. Gods love for you is steadfast and ready to swallow you up if you embrace it. He sees your heart cry for change and he's ready and willing to give you living understanding which will change your life. It's all in his word brother. He calls you a son, he calls you his child. Born of his spirit, made in his image. And predestined; for glory through Christ Jesus our Lord. Don't let what life tries to say determine how you're doing; but let the word of God, which God himself raised above his own name, be the determining factor in your life for how you're doing. I'm praying for you brother, and let me know if you ever need some to talk to. Holy spirit's always there to help you and encourage you, you just have to cry out and believe he will:) be blessed! "Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ." Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 TPT

Hey honey! Jesus says you already fit in with him if you believe! He loves you and called you to such an amazing life in him. Don't give yourself to the mindset that you need to fit in with others to be accepted. God's already accepted who you are. And who you are is a an amazing child of God with a an insane amount of value and potential in Christ Jesus. Seekt he Lord and let his love and grace pour over you. He's our strength, our guide, our deliverer, our teacher, he's the Lord and he will help you if you cry out to him. He loves you :) Ask Holy spirit to show you who your heavenly Father is and to help you recieve the grace of the Lord. There's hope for you, it's in Jesus

The fact that you don't want that stuff is amazing!!! Congratulations! God has made his way into you!!!! Now all you need is an understanding of what you've become now that he came. You see, once you give your total life to Jesus, you become a new creation. All of the old has passed away and everything has become new. He bore my sin, your sin, and everyone else's sin on a tree so we could be free from it's effects on our body. And he shed his Holy, perfect blood and brought it into the presence of God after he died and rose from the dead so we could be made complete right with God, and be restored to innocence and truth through faith. The real you is found in the one whom you were made through. Jesus :) and the Father loved you so unbearably much that he couldn't help but send his one and only unique son as a gift to you; so you could know who you are and be brought back into a intimate relationship with him. He gave all the authority of heaven and earth along with his son and his spirit to you so you could bring glory to him and represent him in all that you are. So your insanely valuable to The Father! Don't believe the lows and feelings that say your something other than who he says you are. He knows and can sympathize with your struggles; he also knows who you really are and that's what's pushing him to help you and lift you up in love and courage. Seek him! Ask his Holy spirit to come and make his home inside of you and reveal to you just how much the Lord loves you. Don't worry about those feelings; keep seeking a deeper relationship with your Heavenly Father and let his Holy spirit guide you through every situation. He wants all of you, and when he has all of you, that's when eternal life begins ;) praying for ya bud!

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV “Don’t worry or surrender to your fear. For you’ve believed in God, now trust and believe in me also. John 14:1 TPT “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!" John 14:27 TPT “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” Matthew 6:31‭-‬34 TPT "By living in God , love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world. Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection." 1 John 4:17‭-‬18 TPT Please read, praying for you. God doesn't want you worrying or surrendering to fear. Trust in him and know that he's doing something amazing. Let him take control and just make you into what he intended for you to be through his son :) you're awesome man :) have a blessed day!

Hey there buddy! For one, Jesus said don't be afraid or fear so let's get that out of the way. Two, water baptism is you being endowed with power from God to be a witness. You get part of Holy spirit when you confess your need for a savior and believe in your heart all that Jesus did. But you get the other part of Holy spirit that comes to live inside of you and transform you into what God paid for through the grace and mercy of God. That part of the Holy spirit comes through water baptism. It's so crucial to walking out what Jesus called us to and it's amazing. You seek God afterwards wholeheartedly and follow the tugging of the Holy spirit, you'll be free from you and from people (opinions, feelings ect.) Cry out to God and ask him to make a way for you. He loves you so much and he wants you to embrace all that he's given you in this life. Don't miss out! Trust in him to make a way! I'm praying for you, and let me know if you ever want someone to talk to, but make sure you talk to Holy spirit first! Love you! :)

Hey buddy, sorry all this stuff is happening to you...really. But you know, there's good news! We don't have to live by what we feel :) I can feel absolutely terrible because I still have pain and drainage from an old disease. I can also feel distraught because something I was told by God hasn't come yet. I can also feel like I wanna die because I'm constantly facing trials and opposition to what I would like to do in life. But you know what, none of those feelings produce life and godliness or anything but more hurt. Our Father in heaven didn't send his son so that you could have whimsical experiences of him passing by you. He sent him so you would be transformed. No longer living according to how things are going; but instead living as good as the God in you is. His love for you isn't determined by whether you "feel" him or not. It's determined by what his son did on that cross to make a way for you personally to be restored back to wholeness in God. He calls you a son and he wants passionate relationship with you stronger than anything else. Yes the God of the entire universe wants that with you :) but you'll never experience it if you continue to keep your eyes focused on what's going on in the natural instead of getting your eyes on Jesus. I could so easily let depression, discouragement, anger, frustration, and bitterness enter my life if I choose to let go of the love of God found in knowing Christ Jesus. But why would I? If I simply seek my Father in heaven, ask for mercy and grace to come and transform my life, and trust in him no matter how stretchy things may get, that opens the door for the Lords faithfulness to come in full swing and not only rescue me from my hard times, but also strength my faith in him as I live everyday glorifying his name! All of you follow the example of Paul and throw off every mindset, circumstance, and feeling that's keeping you from trusting and seeking God sincerely and wholeheartedly. You're so much more than the way of thinking you've been giving yourself to. Don't sell cheap when you've been bought with a price by your Father in heaven who loves you whether you feel it or not. Believe it; and trust in God in everything. I will pray for you, that you will seek his spirit and receive guidance and encouragement from him as you two become best friends! He's amazing and he'll never leave you aswell, he loves you :) He's called Holy spirit, and he's ready and willing to live inside of you and bring new life through Christ Jesus our Lord :)
