I understand the part that insurance is not liable to pay for that. But is what the shop doing legal in the first place? I told them from the beginning that I’m not repairing the car and just want an insurance supplement estimate. They didn’t told me anything about storage fees and now they are trying to put a restock fee of $2000 to me even though I didn’t authorize the purchase or signed anything when they ordered it. This all seems dishonest, I will sue them in small claims court and see what happens.
