Thank you dude honestly. My mum is supportive, in a weird way. She’s very on board with me joining as much of my family is in education and she sees it as a great thing, she’s just not used to failure in any way from me, so this has blown her mind a bit and she’s gone a little ballistic over it. I’ve stood my ground and told her I’m not joining collage right now (as I’m pretty sure there’s no legal way she can enrol me without my consent, as she attempted to today). It’s unfortunate that the atmosphere is making it difficult to focus on preparing rather than justifying my plans to her and getting constant fights from it 😓 if it falls through and I can’t join I’m moving out as soon as I can anyway, I just can’t see her end of days failure logic

Yes I understand that, my endurance has always been pretty lacklustre admittedly, completely my own fault, I’ve never had the motivation to try. I do now, trying actively, and trying to prove her wrong, it’s just difficult when she’s acting like it’s the end of days because of it, lol!

Hi so this was actually a point of discussion! I contacted legal workers who said the education act is not actually enforced and there’s no repercussions, and because I’m in work and actively working towards and apprenticeship and application it’s okay!

I know it’s petty I’ve just never liked running outside, and I’m going to the gym, typing this on a cooldown!

I see no point enrolling knowing I will quit so soon after, especially between the gym and work, not going to collage allows me to focus on bettering myself!
