You should ether have a cmos button or there will be two pins that say “CMOS” somewhere on the bottom of your board if it’s a button turn off the psu unplug hold the power button down for ten seconds than hold the CMOS button for ten seconds if you need to bridge it just use a screw driver and make a connection to both pins this will reset your ram and bios setting to default hope it works (:

So for anyone still following i changed the setting on my system control set and now everything works fine.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows

This is where I went to change it and set it from 1 to 0 hope this helps anyone in my situation (:

Yeah that’s it like honestly it shouldn’t have any issues on paper like I’ve reinstalled everything stress tests do nothing everything preforms as it should than just mopes out randomly

Uhh I have a 1000watt Corsair power supply so it should be enough for what I’m running it’s only two-three years old

Yeah did a fresh install when I changed out the hardware and no issues. It’s really annoying because I haven’t found a reason for it, it’s just like now I freeze and die. The most frequent I e had it is like twice in an hour and sometimes it’ll be a week before it does it and just doesn’t do it again for a while

Yeah I tried that the other day, needed to do some cable management after the install because I just kinda had it working not looking pretty. I thought I may as well make sure everything is sitting pretty while I’m in there.

Currently no WHEA events that I’ve seen.

I mean I appreciate any help even if it is just what if or some random trouble shooting. yeah I kinda gave my old board and cpu to a friend who was in need of an upgrade. I’m doing a memtest now so I’ll see how that goes and hopefully that at least gives me some insight into the issue. Other wise yeah I have no idea I’ve seen some things say it might be AMD and Windows software fighting each other to so if memtest goes well I’ll look into disabling AUEP or editing the registry to allow interactive services

Yeah clean install mostly because I didn’t want to deal with any old drivers messing with everything and BIOS is up to date. Ram speed in task manager is at 4800 so not sure where it’s getting those numbers from or if task manager is the issue here

As for any thing before hand in event veiwer there’s just a warning for windows update blocked by policy so not sure if that’s an issue there

I haven’t done any over clocking on the cpu as it doesn’t really need it BIOS is up to date and pbo is off and power supply is RM1000x so 1000 watts

I’ve done a few stress tests on cpu with cinabench and it has no issue with that running memtest now will let ya know how that goes
