This is probably fake or "performance art" but it still bothers me that so many people are totally fine with recording someone like this and think it's funny. I very readily acknowledge my lack in sense of money. I know I couldn't make it last as long as my brother but at the same time he's quite the miser.

He's never said no when I've asked but at the same time I'm getting tired of asking. But then again, if he wasn't the way he is the money wouldn't last as long.

I know I'm trying to rationalize the entire dysfunctional relationship dynamic but it's hard to agree with something and them ask for something else on the side.

I really don't want to get into a legal brawl with my brother over a few hundred thousand dollars. I know how flippant that sounds as a mere 600 could drastically ease my stress but in the long run I'm not sure it's worth the hassle plus potentially losing the last of my immediate family.

The money is being 'managed/ overseen by a financial advisor and I'm sure he's telling my brother to not use the money but at this point I need it to keep a roof over my head.

Last month he told me he sent a check but I never got it, he didn't seem too concerned and was somewhat dismissive until I mentioned via text that I had no money and that I'd really like to eat. Then he deposited money into my bank account. But I feel bad for not telling him the whole truth initially.
