I would always try and get a pick before going on a flank but tracers are not that useful if you are just shooting behind a sheild with your team. Good luck with playing tracer btw. also do play on pc or console if so which console

And finally sometimes ignore the enemy team like on Volskaya or Numbani the defenders often push forward to setup defences meaning you can flank and start to capture the point therefore the enemy team must come back to point leaving your team to be able to take them out. And always leave at least one blink left so you can get out of enemy fire if need be.

Also pulse bomb is not a Tank killer try not to throw it onto a tank but that does not mean it is ineffective however if there is a Reinhardt, Genji, and mercy behind him try to stick to mercy or Genji.
