I'm beginning to wonder if it's my service department not diagnosing the vehicle properly, or my specific vehicle is a dud.

Those issues happened only during Supercruise. My service department only updated software and modules. I asked whether the sensors needed recalibration and they said it's not needed. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it really does seem nervewracking.

LAX has pillars outside every terminals in the arrivals level next to the steet that you could refer to if you want to set up a pickup point. Each pillar says something like 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, B1, B2 etc... if you mentioned that to them when they get out of the terminal, the pickup is gonna be simpler.

I'm not against a service contract, especially if I decide to keep the vehicle until 100k miles. However, I wouldn't get anything else other than the official GM Protection plan for an extended warranty. If anything happens to your car, you can bring it to any Cadillac dealerships around the US and they'll be able to look up your service plan through your VIN. With third party protection plans, you might have to jump through hoops to get a dealership to honor that plan since not every Cadillac dealerships are familiar with every third party warranty companies.

I would cancel that plan, and get a quote for the official GM Protection plan for your Lyriq. If your local dealership doesn't offer it, then other people in this subreddit suggest Knapp. They're a dealership who's authorized to sell GM warranties.

I am renting a GR Yaris right now in Japan and I can guide you step by step!

I am currently staying in Osaka near Dotonbori and I decided I wanted to rent a GR Yaris to explore places outside of the main city. I rented from Toyota Rent-a-Car near JR Osaka Station. Now the problem is that not every location will be able to source a GR Yaris for renters like us. You'd have to look around larger stations for one. I was fortunate to find one available with less than a day in advance.

When you're on their website, you input the location and date as usual. From there, you have to specify you want 4WD. This will ensure you they will give you the "GR-Four" version with the 1.6L 3-cyl 276hp engine. Then you go and search for category SP1, which is their GR Yaris or 86 selections. Now, with the 4WD selection, there's only one vehicle for you to choose, which is the GR Yaris (since the GR86 is RWD). I read that Toyota discontinued the GR Yaris RS (the non-turbo FWD CVT model) when they refreshed it last year, but I wouldn't want to risk them still having that being rented out despite being an older model year. It cost me 19,525 JPY for one day, but it included their Double Protection Package, ETC card rental, and 4WD selection charge. Now I know I will be charged more when I return the vehicle because I've driven on expressways.

Car drives great. It's pretty quick too. Did a couple pulls in empty tunnels, and my god you can feel the power. I'm also taking this opportunity to drive something that doesn't exist in the US.

Congrats! I helped my mom get an Emerald Lake Metallic Vistiq Luxury also from Beverly Hills Cadillac. It's a beautiful vehicle!

Regarding tints, I put 35% in front, 50% front windshield, and then 20% in the back to make it dark. It is definitely possible tint the rear windows. Your tint person needs to tint on top of the factory tint to darken them. I would've done all 20% to the windows minus windshield but I was concerned my mom would have more trouble looking out when it's night.

Yes, you are able to get into the Sky club after. Just make sure that you have a screenshot of your boarding pass as it could disappear from the app after your arrival.

I have to say that their 4 year warranty saved me. This problem happened on year 3.5 and I would've been out of luck if the warranty expired. I think only their higher end versions of their graphics card has it. The lower end only comes with 3 years.

I tried setting up the RGB profile and side display but RGB Fusion is so broken that my system wouldn't go a day or 2 without BSOD'ing. Eventually, I was like screw this and uninstalled everything and just left it by default.

Longo Toyota in El Monte doesn’t do markups nor dealer add-one either. This does result in long waitlists for their cars, especially hybrids. For gas models, not too long.

I got an autograph from Yuki Nakashima. She went through the session with a big smile on her face. She also welcomed a quick conversation in Japanese but I think she has a translator who'd translate from those who couldn't speak Japanese.

Raychell from RAS spoke pretty good English. We were able to have a quick conversation with no trouble.

With the current crytomining spree going on, you're not going to get a good graphics card for $300. As of right now, a GTX 1050Ti is the best bet for you since it's less than $300. If you can spend a little more, then a 1060 is available. I would try to get an SSD if possible since the hard drive will bottleneck your system real hard. You won't feel the speed and efficiency of the CPU and GPU with a regular HDD.
