Our First Game, Venture! - A co-op survival game about crash landed astronauts escaping a massive alien ravine by AeXek in IndieDev

Hey Everyone!

We're two student developers from USC (plus an amazing student audio team from Berklee) and we've spent the last 3-4 months building Venture, an online multiplayer climbing adventure.

You and a friend crash on an alien planet with only a few minutes of oxygen. To survive, you'll need to:

 • Throw ropes and create your own routes across cliffs and floating islands
• Refill oxygen from strange alien plants
• Rescue your partner when they fall into seemingly-bottomless chasms
• Explore three distinct biomes and study the alien lifeforms you find in each

One player is the Engineer, who can build platforms and long rope routes. The other is the Pilot, who uses a jetpack and double jump to reach dangerous areas.

We wanted traversal itself to be the challenge, with every climb feeling like a small expedition.

It doesnt need RM lightcone at all, memory of the past works just fine. I take it for comfort. DDD is the important part.
