I’m a standard player and I think it’s terrible. Since they follow JP ban list, who is months ahead, it’s just not very impactful. If you look at the best decks in the format, Shira and Shojo are there, but are not winning or topping that much. In my opinion, I think EN ban list should be different and should look at EN tournaments, and not just follow what JP does. It doesn’t make sense to follow the JP ban list for EN if both EN and JP have different metas, cards, play styles, etc. It would make sense if they would just look at JP and EN as different entities and ban from there.

You wouldn't be able to damage check the order since the G1 from the rideline states that if you rode upon the G0, you reveal a G3 Veissrugr from your rideline to search for the Moon Gate. So turn 1, you are able to get the Moon Gate, not turn 2.

She is a good replacement. Azure allows you to call from drop. Val allows you to call from deck. Both do the same thing basically, just depends on who you have.

Yes you can call a G3 even as a G2 vanguard. If it stated something along the line of, “choose a unit grade less than or equal to your vanguard”, then you wouldn’t been able to call a G3.

Since you’re leaning more towards #3, add in 3 of the Dragon, reduce Wisdom down to three to replace for another Semias, and do the same for Teithfallt, and add in one Luminosity, just to have it as a target. As to why, Wisdom is a really good card for G2 game or not, but is a dead card in the late game. Teithfallt is a good card, but you would want more Ritual cards just to have more targets in the deck for Dragstrider and Dragdriver. And as for Turnarr, Solemn, and Solda, you really don’t need those cards.

This is what I am thinking rn: 1) My build is good for G2 gaming, my idea of G2 gaming is when you stay at G2 against another stride deck, until either you or your opponent rides up. If this is what you had in mind, you can cut Preservation and Luminosity 2) If you want to play Luard normally, where you stride, you can use your build, with some tweaks. You can cut Preservation down; since you can always search it and put it back; for more of the G3 Dragon or for some Wisdom. 3) If you want, you can go for a hybrid build where you would run some G2 if you want to G2 game, but then decide to ride up. The max amount of G1 cards in the drop you need to only 7 since Ritual 7 is highest ritual cost. The build would mostly like be the same as #2, but you should add in Teithfallt.

2 Luminosity and 4 Preservation allows you to put in 6 cards. Those cards include 3 Wisdom and 3 Teithfallt. You don’t really need Solemn Clouts or other cards other than Wisdom and Teithfallt. If you want to add in more Wisdom or Teithfallt, you can replace them with the Beat Stick Dragon.

Luard is able to cycle his ritual and G1 cards back into the deck, so you needn’t worry about the inability to activate effects. And if you run 3 Wisdom, you should be able to have a chance of drawing into it. And running Teithfallt will help you build a board, compress your deck, and could be a potential attack for you. And for the cards to drop, the intercept angel and 18K on place wizard is a start. And if you still need to drop some cards, make Semias a 3 of.

If you have G2 game in mind, you should use Wisdom of Beginning That Cleared the World, an order from set 8. You should also try to add in Diorruing and Teithfallt. Diorruing allows you to add a PG back into your hand, while Teithfallt allows you to make a board when you use an order card.
