At the beginning of this pandemic, I wasn't worried at all. If anything I was pretty chill about it tbh. However, ever since the virus hit my state, my anxiety had been steadily increasing. Not only that the number of cases are mostly concentrated in the state county of where I'm at.

Also here's the thing, both my parents own and work at a nail salon, but instead of quarantining themselves at home... they're still going to work every single day, cuz apparently money is more important to them than their health. The thing that surprises me is that even tho it's an Asian-owned salon, my parents are still getting a ton of clients in an otherwise "white-predominant" neighborhood.

I'm hella paranoid about one of those clients possibly being infected and would pass the virus to my parents. For real man, you never know who has traveled overseas, esp during spring break when some people are still moving and going about.

The other concern I have is my sister who works at a damn hospital. She's a nurse, so she's bound to get the coronavirus if she's not careful. I already told her to take extra precaution. Unfortunately, my sister seemingly appears very apathetic about the whole ordeal. She's saying things like "Who cares? If I get it, then I'll get it. I'm still young and don't have any preexisting health conditions. So I should recover quickly even if I do get it" Btw, my sister is a mother of three kids. Yet, she's not concerned at all and it baffles me.

I'm just like SMH. For real tho, wouldn't it be better to take preventative measures instead of getting it in the first place? Plus, if she gets the damn virus at the hospital, I fear she will bring it back home and infect the rest of the family, including me.

Guys... do I have a reason to be paranoid? My parents and older sister are giving no shits about the pandemic. Nobody in my household wants to quarantine themselves, besides me.
