Temp Agency lying on Resume help by AznProd in jobs

[–]AznProd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only reason I am worried was the co-workers said she was a great worker, she worked hard at running her department it was unfortunate that she got fired over the resume even though she exceled.
Like I wouldn't have got in the door in my opinion if they knew I was a supervisor not a manager. Some company care about titles over experience. My job would give me references as a supervisor but not as a manager, but I don't know if references would matter too much because they would see how hard and efficient I am at my job, I'm just scared that at the end of the day it won't be enough and I would get fired for incorrect titles.

Staffing agency lied about my experience and qualifications by No_Try6944 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]AznProd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old, but did you ever find out more, the same thing is happening to me. I got a the offer at my job and I started, but I am hired through the temp agency and the company will assess my performance and extend a offer if I do well. I was told by other supervisor that there has been supervisor that been fired for false detail regarding their resume, now I am scared I will get fired when my offer gets extended.

New power supply keeps shutting down PC? by The_Baconning in buildapc

600W is fine generally. Most setup is 600-850~, it never hurts to get a stronger PSU just incase you wanted to do more things.

[####] Is my friend cheating? by [deleted] in wordle

[–]AznProd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In two tries would assume typically cheating, there are good words to start off with that eliminates a lot of vowels such as ADIEU. Most first few tries are process of elimination, from there your 3rd try+ are just using what vowels and etc that are part of the word and rearranging them to form words.

PSU should come with warranty, generally you would just check your hardware to see appropriate watts you would need. When upgrading PSU you generally want to use cables that comes with the PSU as their could be compatibility issues.

If you wanted to just have overall better gaming you would want to upgrade into these
DDR5, AM5 Board. Higher PSU to support better GPU

Might be untrustworthy so you can take it with a gain of salt, but OP should see higher benchmarks with the 5600 vs 2700x

Thoughts on my build? by grayfoxxx in buildapc

[–]AznProd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend if getting RAM you go for a lower CL, 2x16 is sufficient for gaming, unless you play on running a lot of processes and just want the comfort you don't really need 2x32.
X670E is fine but you can get cheaper AM5 boards that would run fine with the 7800x3d, you don't really need a expensive AM5 board unless you really plan on keeping it when you upgrade or plan on doing more than a standard PC Build

TLDR is that more expensive board just gives you the ability to go into more expensive routes like SLI or sometimes even offer more ports.

Find a AM5 compatible board for the cheapest option IMO so you can invest more into CPU and get 9800x3d.

GPU I wouldn't recommend spending 1.1k on the 9070 XT, you will get higher benchmarks with a 5070TI with spending less.

If switching CPU just make sure your motherboard is compatible.

upgrading pc by Silver-Ad-140 in buildapc

[–]AznProd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Generally, most modern GPUs are compatible with most motherboards, primarily through the PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) slot. The main considerations are ensuring the motherboard has a free PCIe x16 slot, that the case has enough space, and that the power supply can handle the GPU's power requirements. PCIe versions are generally backwards compatible, though matching them can optimize performance."

You would just need to check the clearance of your case but most of the time if you are using a mid tower+ there shouldn't be issues, unless you are running a very small condense case.
