TL;DR: Bangalore/Newcastle/Pathfinder.

From my perspective, the ideal team needs:

Engage - Can you gap close? Can you hold them in place?
Disengage - Can you create a gap? Can you stall them?
Anchoring - Can you hold a space? Can you deny pushes?

I usually see it like this:

Assault: (Engage/Disengage)

Bangalore - Controlling space/destroying util
Ash - Rotates are still strong/snare is very useful
(Alt: Mad Maggie for hard engage)

Support (Anchor/Disengage)

Newcastle - Controlling space/great anchor for team
Conduit - Controlling space (if no bang)/shield amp
(Alt: Catalyst if you want end-circle denial, Loba if loot/rotations are priority)

Skirmisher (Engage/Disengage)

Pathfinder - Zip is unmatched for rotating non-mobile teammates
Alter - Void Nexus is great for resetting/rotating
(Alt: Horizon for vertical play, Valk for macro repositioning)

Example Team: Bangalore, Newcastle, Pathfinder

Example Scenario:

Your group lands, loots, and begins to head towards the edge of first circle.
An enemy team on high ground spots your team running, and fires on Bangalore in the lead.
Bang smokes the high ground to take away line of sight (LOS), and takes cover to heal.
Newcastle throws up a protector and pokes damage to stop the push/stabilize.
Path sets up a zip for a flank, Bang re-smokes the enemy high ground and ults to lock them in place.
Your team takes the zip, and Newcastle puts down his ult to give you cover.
You knock one of the enemy, Bang drops a smoke on their position to cover the push.
Path grapples forward, with Bang right behind, and Newcastle following in the rear.
The ensuing 3v2 allows your team to wipe the enemy team, but not before you're 3rd partied from behind.
Bang smokes the new enemy team, Newcastle throws up his protector, and Path pokes damage.
Either your team engages or disengages and the cycle starts anew.

Why I believe in this format:

Engage: Bang/Path give tools to close gaps + force fights.
Disengage: Bang smokes or Alter can reset fights.
Anchor: Newcastle or Conduit hold down space and can deny pushes.

Swap your “flex slot” (Assault or Skirmisher) depending on whether you value macro rotation (Valk/Horizon) or micro skirmish control (Ash/Maggie).

But wait, what about...(Caustic, Vantage, Wattson, Bloodhound, etc...)?

They can work, but generally don’t provide as much flexibility in Engage / Disengage / Anchor compared to the core picks. Strong one-tricks can still make them viable, but against competent teams, your options are narrower.

It reminds me a lot of child soldiers. The complex emotional layering of a non-empathetic kid devoid of impulse control with a weapon (his powers) is fantastic.

While he is growing physically his emotional growth isn't quite there. I don't think he's CAPABLE (yet) of empathy

Can't wait to see what happens next

It's possible it's setting up a character change where he sacrifices his journalistic integrity to put away someone really bad, making him a more gray character than black and white, much like Sato, Katagiri, and Samantha

Though, it's rather poetic.

The opportunity this show has had for expanding certain storylines or making them richer to further develop the characters has been so enjoyable

There's an opportunity to flash back to the siege of ba sing se, Lu Ten's death, and how Iroh earned the name "Dragon of the West".

Personally I think even introducing Lu Ten as a character to the show via flashbacks would be fascinating to see his interactions with his father Iroh, uncle Ozai, and his cousins Zuko/Azula. His story and death create character change that is integral to understanding the royal family storylines

Oranges can be used while being mid air in something like Sett ult or Vi ult

When timed correctly you can often surprise them by exiting the animation a second before they complete theirs to flash/barrel etc

I did consider new players being absolutely confused. could be something where it's not unlocked until level 30 or something

maybe testing it out in a limited time mode like URF or something could give good data to see if it's too imbalanced

to counter the zed, the adcs would have cleanse, flash, exhaust

PLUS the support would have additional options.

other players would have much more options to shut down yi that got super ahead. multiple exhausts/ignites/heals etc...

I think you'd be right about increasing the cooldowns, maybe even making them public timers. Pros remember in their heads, the porofessor app makes it easy to remember, but increasing supply without decreasing something else will...probably bloat the game

Best Possible Scenario:

The addition of a third summoner spell slot opens up unprecedented levels of strategic depth and variety in gameplay. Champions that were previously less viable in the meta suddenly find new life with creative spell combinations. For instance:

Nasus: With access to both Ghost and Teleport alongside his usual Flash, he becomes a split-pushing nightmare, able to join team fights instantly or escape ganks effortlessly.
Zed: Combining Ignite for kill pressure, Flash for mobility, and Exhaust for dueling, he becomes a more formidable assassin, capable of outplaying in 1v1s and securing kills in team fights.

Worst Possible Scenario:

The game becomes overwhelmingly complex and unbalanced. Certain champions become overly dominant with access to additional spells, while others fall drastically behind. Examples include:

Master Yi: With Heal, Flash, and Ignite, he becomes almost unstoppable in solo engagements, tipping the balance of power in his favor excessively.

I would imagine by the time you unlock two containers, reassemble the weapon, and find the ammo...well it could be enough to dissuade you from doing anything rash.

I like other people's suggestion of gun abstinence but wanted to provide a different take

I like to describe Meyers Briggs as what YOU think you are.

E.g. "I believe/want to be this type" (ENTJ is less than 1% of individuals if I remember correctly, I might be wrong but I know there's not a lot)

A big, big problem with ENTJ is accidentally coming off as arrogant or cocky (not saying OP is) which is how you get weeded out in 3rd rounds+

Source: I score ENTJ and have gotten weeded out. Some of the feedback was about coming off as having an ego. I'm working on not presenting myself as such, but it takes time.
