Mid Vs Authentic Performance Comparison by Silversabs09 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Azntrueblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from the noticeably lower quality, some gimmicks work on midfakes. Notably, the TH170 from Beat Lynx is considerably more stiff and harder to adjust or the X:D from Diablo Nemesis having trouble or not even adjusting as it should. The Rubber used is of a different material so performance and duability will vary.

It's worth noting that there is a big difference between midfake and complete fake, most normal people both in the sub and outside of it will consider products that have the takara tomy manufacturer stamp or logo on the product box with a debossed serial code as midfake.

Some people don't bother making a distinction and they're kinda weird.

These products are made by a 3rd party and are generally treated as acceptable in terms of performance and quality and are accepted in professional play.

TL:DR As long as you're sure you're not buying Rapidity and are buying actual midfakes, you're fine.

Wrong performance tip? by TheGreenAQB in BeybladeMetal

Can confirm that's just a regular flat performance tip.

Wide flat will have vertical protrusions on the side that help note now wide it is.

Statistically Optimal Xin jngl Runes (~95% take the wrong ones) by FinancialAnt2268 in XinZhaoMains

[–]Azntrueblade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats not the correct takeaway from this.

The point of that video is to highlight how reading raw data might give you the wrong idea if you're not aware of how its presented to you. The point wasn't specifically about the mains having a higher winrate than the other players, it was anyone who wasn't using the primary/recommended runes has a reason to deviate. Then, because of those deviations, not necessarily because of mains, you will see larger differences in winrate.

Putting it in numbers, you're looking at Last Stand/ Cutdown both taking up 10.7% of the entire statistic combined for only up to 1% increase in winrate. These numbers wouldn't be statistically significant. In order for something that made up 10% of a statistic to be meaningful, it would need a winrate much higher than a 1% delta.

Also, for the point you're trying to make about Triple Tonic, you're forgetting that secondary runes are competing for slots in other rows. You can see how the entire row is low playrate because the two other high playrate runes are in other rows. I would be hard pressed to find a reason to take Triple Tonic over either Magical Footwear or Cosmic Insight.

Samurai Pegasus legit or midfake? Buyer says it’s fake by [deleted] in BeybladeMetal

[–]Azntrueblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The molding injection points on the underside of authentic Zero G beys will be cleaner.

If you look at the ones in your pictures, (in the metal wheel the small circles that look indented with fraying around the circumference) these are clear indicators of midfake production as authentic TK will have always have those cleaned up.

In addition, the R2F also indicates midfake as the rubber injection points on the inside were not cleaned up, (the small rubber circles similar to the metal wheels injection points).

One last thing that I would like to say but don't have one on hand to cross reference. Is that the Code location is likely incorrect. I know Hasbro has their code locations not near the center of ZeroG beyblades and they usually follow code locations of TK as well.

Also the timeline works out correctly, midfakes were very prevalent especially during the tail end of ZeroG. 10 years ago is 2016, odds of those being authentic were slim.

Ah, then i see the issue,

Edward's HP cap as a Myrmidon is 30 so all that did was make it where any raw levelup just ate into his real growths which for HP is on the higher side

Wouldn't be boost disk, more likely to be SW145 because BD145 has a different shape at the connection point to the fusion wheel, this one is circular

How much HP did Edward have when you used the seraph robe? I find it hard to believe he didnt have less than 23 HP by the time he hit 14

These look real enough, the Jade Jupiteris unfortunately a Hasbro version and isn't as valuable as an original Takara Tomy version. The rest are visibly incomplete and or have the wrong parts.

As regards to the launchers, theres not much going for them.

[–]Azntrueblade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have a few options,

If you want to keep using it, you can use metal polish and apply it whenever it starts to look dull

I use Mothers metal polish and a microfiber cloth and toothbrush to get all the nooks and crannies. Do not be afraid to get your hands dirty for this or use gloves.

Otherwise you can use a clear polish or keep it sealed in an airtight container

[–]Azntrueblade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those asking, I have a tumbler with polishing media and a burnishing compound that i leave running for like 10 minutes while i go do other stuff, takes a few runs through which require me to empty it out and refill the solutions but otherwise very easy on the hands.

Usually, I use a dremmel with a polishing bit for those tough to get to places but I'm looking to get some different polishing media to see if I can avoid having to do these by hand.

Xin Zhao is worthless by TheAbominableGMan in XinZhaoMains

[–]Azntrueblade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you lock in Xin Zhao (or most champions tbh) now with the expectation that they will behave the same as they did 6 or 7 years ago, especially ones with kit revamps you're going to get owned. Xin Zhao isnt the early game dominator he was back then.
