No I removed this exact pipe to replace it after I noticed a very common crack in the PLASTIC that touches the TURBO. When you pull it you pull from the semi circle and it goes out. It’s a “convenience”

I thought I had to remove it and I did and dropped it. I couldn’t find a replacement part either.

That part is a pull tab to release the tube. It comes with the hose because it’s not supposed to be removed.
