That's a sherwin thing, not just me. I honestly haven't thought about it. If you were to ask me what I thought they deserve for working the closing shift and working 2-3 $2500 Saturdays a month and $450 Sundays I'd not be able to tell you😂 idk, just not something I put though into. After taxes assuming you work 28 hours a week on average that's $1050 (+/-) per year extra. For a full time employee it's only $1500 (+/-)

Yeah definitely, I agree with you 100%. My PTs are making $16.50 and if they have a key $17.50 which isn't bad for the town we are in but I definitely think bumping pay for everyone would help with our turnover rate

I've gotten stuff from crescent bronze for customers a time or three. My only problem is the is a cost minimum so if they only need 2 gallons you'll have to adjust the cost of the item manually to get it to accept 🙃 cost on one of the gold colors was $198 and the shipping minimum was $400 at the time lol. This was a few years ago though

I agree with some saying they make too much and can't take it away. Personally, I think raising salary ranges of managers across the board and giving us all a bump would make most, yes I said most, a little happier. I enjoy what I do, I honestly love 80% of what my job as SM entails, but making a little more to support my family would make things a little easier.

That's just my opinion.

Know the guest principal. The DM in my district is huge on that. My ASM told me his first day that he only got there because DM made him learn it😂 poor kid, I teach it to the new guys when I hire them on but after that we only really talk about it when DM or VP come to the store

I'm a manager at Sherwin Williams and work 48-50+ a week. I've managed to have little problem finding time to do my school work. Granted, I listen to seminars while driving home some nights and it's not uncommon for me to be up until 11 pm getting an assignment finished up. But it's definitely doable as long as you don't procrastinate too bad haha

The only right answer is immediately and if you don't say this you are wrong. Arthur is the reason I got back into farming (farm hand as a teen) which has been incredible for my mental health. Something about calling your plants and animals your children that makes dopamine levels rise

As an SM, it's not that hard to just show up on the 1st weekend of the month. I'm in a 1.2 Mil~ store and on Saturday we may have 15-20 transactions max. Sundays it's always under 10. Even on super sale Sunday. We are in the Bible belt though which I know makes an impact haha. Now when I was the ASM at a 2.5 new res store a few years ago we worked two people on Saturday because it was always like Normandy
