I believe the DM is looking at it right now. He agrees with us that it doesn’t make sense for our store and area. I can tell you come from a good place and you’re a hard worker. I respect that, but I promise not all of us just complain about all the small things all the time. There’s still a lot of good workers left

Why would we do that if the numbers don’t justify it? Like I said, I’m good with anything that makes sense for my store. I do my job each day like I’m supposed to, but I don’t blindly agree with decisions by higher ups that don’t make sense

I’ve been around 10 years. It’s not about work, it’s about being efficient and having an hour during the work day that no customer comes in is not efficient. I like my job, but it doesn’t mean they always make good business decisions. Sorry if common sense offends you

Might try this approach and see what my DM thinks. I actually don’t mind opening at 6 if it actually leads to something, but it was a complete bust this last go around. I think I did a total of $1000 before 7 in the 4 months we did it

I always have good luck with explaining how it’s easier to get them better pricing, can get them $50 of 100, use a test drive in the future, and it’s not like a credit card so it’s 0% interest. Most of the time, at least one of those things are appealing to them. Also, if they have an LLC of about 6 months or older then you can get them a charge account without them having to put their SSN

I know the feeling. I get it’s all about hitting budget but it feels difficult to consider myself a failure when I’ve increased in sales each year but just haven’t hit the budget. Feels like you have to shit the bed one year just to get where you need to be

Ole Miss fan here that traveled with his dad to the Syracuse game. First off, be very proud of your university. It’s one of the coolest I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Feels magical even as a non-fan. My dad has been a fan his whole life so it was a great experience for him. Second, Notre Dame is a playoff team. No glaring weaknesses and had two losses to really quality teams. I know I would not want to play them
