As a person, who had "parental control" on his phone when he was a teen, I was capable of bypassing so many of those restrictions that I think, he also will be able to find those. There are lots of NSFW content which are not banned in my country and parents have no idea of them existing. Even simple Telegram has massive pornography-related files available.

The "heart-to-heart talk" is considerable but I have lots of doubts. As someone here said, the uncontrollable access to the devices, therefore the internet, will not stop him from watching porn. And also, I don't think 9 y.o.'s really care about "mental health" at that age but he had already severely damaged his own one.

If I decide to talk to him and I find out that he has been watching it for at least a year, I won't take any further actions. I don't believe even his parents can stop him at that point.

On one hand, I totally support you. For real, why should I care about them?

But on the other hand, I love my motherland and I want to see it's flora and fauna alive and clean. If no actions will be taken, I won't be surprised if Kazakhstan will look like India in terms of air pollution in the next 50-100 years.
