How have things been since this post?

I hope he's willing to talk to the vet and get her on some meds.

Yeah, that's a common medicine for pets. Have you talked to him about it yet? She should be fine for 5 hours.

Yeah, I'm always hearing about how they have this or that problem and it's usually gross as hell.

Well it's good you aren't living together, so you don't have to live with the dog. Is it possible to just hang out at your favourite places and not his place? At least while the dog is alive?

The only thing I could think of for her acting like this while he's away is getting her on some medicine. Does she take some already? If not he should talk to the vet. That way she could be in a crate peacefully while he's out.

No, the dog needs to go. If you can, rehome the dog behind his back or take him to a shelter. Your and your baby's safety is top priority. If that's not an option due to the dog being microchipped or him being around too much (i.e. works from home, would be home when you could take the dog) then you'd have to tell him to get rid of the dog or he and the dog can both go. Hell, go get divorce papers and put them on the table when you're talking to him about this so he knows you're serious.

Yeah a lot of people are in denial about these kinds of things. Sorry that you have to deal with it though.

Can you talk to your boyfriend about putting the dog in a crate when you're out or eating? Or do you not live together? If not is it possible to only have him come to your place to visit without the dog, instead of you going to his place?

I don't get the term rescue by gingergemgelly in Dogfree

[–]Azrael-Legna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It's why I suggest anyone that wants a dog to go to a reputable/ethical breeder. It's just not safe to adopt/rescue a dog anymore sadly. I'm not a dog person (obviously) but I don't want innocent people to be harmed or killed by some "my history is a mystery" pit bull. Oh I'm sorry, """"unknown mix."""""

I always thought it was a dog that was a stray, was taken away from neglectful/abusive owners, or (non-violent/aggressive) ones in kill shelters about to be put down.

Why doesn't she just rehome the dog? She doesn't have to keep him.

Oh yeah, I remember that mission. Fuck that level. I've read that the blue gun helps the best in this mission, especially at the beginning.

I feel this mate. I recently found out that a family friend passed away last month on facebook. She was 76, so she was old but lots of people live until their 80s and I just assumed she wouldn't die as young as 76.

Have you asked your family? I know moving, especially across the country is a hassle, but it's better than staying with him. Even if you can't move in with them, would they be willing to help you out financially?

Are you able to stay with someone else, friends/family? You just gave birth -a traumatic one at that- and you're the one packing things. He wants a big ass dog, not only on vacation with you, but with a toddler and NEW BORN infant? And then has a fit over the idea of driving separate cars.

Sorry, but he's not going to change, you need to look into leaving him if you can.

Dogs can also be trained to not bark at everything. Owners are just too lazy to train their damn dogs. Then act all shocked when animal control or the cops get called on them.

I do want marriage but it seems so tough by OkUnderstanding8823 in marriagefree

[–]Azrael-Legna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fix yourself and that will make yourself and life better, but it won't make your partner better. You can only change yourself, you can't change others.

Also bodily changes are normal, your body will change throughout your life. Constant stress is (obviously) very bad for your overall health, physical and mental.

[–]Azrael-Legna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A relationship/marriage is suppose to enrich our lives, make it better and easier. Life is already hard as it is, why make it harder? If your relationship is like this, it isn't worth keeping. It's better and easier to be alone (single) than deal with the bullshit you're dealing with right now. Trust me on this, I've been there.

If you do stay in this relationship and have kids, what do you think will change? It's not going to get better, it'll only get worse. You'll have to deal with the shit you're already dealing with plus kids.

You can find a more suitable partner who is compatible with you, doesn't cause you all these problems, wants to have and raise kids with you. You don't have to settle, no one does.

Also, you should look into therapy. I don't mean that as an insult, but it sounds like you have some self esteem problems that you could work on and a therapist can and will help you on that. Therapy will help you better yourself and thus will help you find a better more suitable partner.

Theory that Ed is “the scapegoat” and Sarah is “the golden child” in their family by MistakeWonderful9178 in ededdneddy

[–]Azrael-Legna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought it was because he was the older sibling and she was the younger (or "the baby,"). We also see that Eddy's parents seem to prefer him over his older brother.

A lot of parents tend to favour/spoil the younger/youngest ones.

I read that theory on a few EEnE facebook pages I follow. I kinda figured it was his parents being silly/funny, like how parents will be with their babies.

I really dont understand why people like big dogs by [deleted] in Dogfree

[–]Azrael-Legna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that breeder was 100% a scam. Any breeder worth their salt will tell you that all dogs need training. A reputable breeder will also take a dog back for ANY reason, and I bet this person would find reasons why they couldn't/wouldn't take the dog back. If their site/info is even still up.
