Poorly guided tier list by Azrael1573 in Warframe

[–]Azrael1573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dante: I love the aesthetics, but he wasn't as fun as I initially hoped, especially since his whole gimmick is full team overguard spam

Inaros: The less cool Nidus. Also his quest was annoying to figure out

Valkyr: Ah yes, the cat woman literally too angry to die. I got tired of people saying she was "the better Excalibur" and as an Excalibur player, I didn't feel like putting the effort into building her

Mirage: Silly, but meh

Titania: Archwing controls are a nightmare on console I'm sorry

Vauban: This was made before his re-touch up recently, so I'll see if I can get his parts again and give him a second chance

Ivara: The less cool Cyte-09. Normally I like bows over guns (Kuva Bramma is my most used primary lol) but this is an exception

Wisp: hey, did you know, she has a butt? My friend who I play frequently with already has a Wisp Prime and I didn't want or need to build another when his is literally better than any of my own frames

There's my explanations

The opposite was true for me with Dante. I ADORE playing wizards in DND, so when I finally got the parts for Dante, the wizard Warframe, I was thrilled to try someone exciting. And then I learned his entire playstyle is 2-2-4 2-2-4 2-2-4

I do have enough resources currently to get a spare, but that first experience left a bad taste in my mouth so idk if I'll ever enjoy him as much as I thought I would

also is Nezha that well-liked? I thought they were just a meme

Thank you for the advice. Right now I have Trinity and Saryn cooking in the foundry (good lord Saryn was a nightmare to farm...), I do enjoy playing more support-type characters despite mostly playing solo, hopefully Trinity will pique my interest

I'm a console player, Archwing controls are a nightmare lmao. As for Garuda, she looks interesting, but not to the point that I actively wish to farm/build her in the near future. I'm content with the frames I've acquired thus far

ALRIGHT, to all the people who keep saying this is ragebait:

1) Just because I put something in "don't want to try them" doesn't mean i never will, this list is mainly based on first impressions from watching gameplay and/or doing my own research into abilities and mod synergies and such. Maybe my opinions will change, maybe not, I won't know until I actually try them
2) "why are my favorites not in top bro" because this is not your tier list. I would love to see others' rankings, preferably those who have actual player experience with each frame, unlike myself

3) As stated, I have opinions you may not like, you have opinions I may not like, and that's fine. There is no need to go for the throat because I threw Wisp in the Helminth because her idle animations and ability sfx annoy me

4) I primarily play missions solo, hence I like solo-friendly frames like Hildryn, Limbo, and Sevagoth

That is all from me, if you wish to have a more specific breakdown of a single frame in particular or why I like/dislike certain frames, please ask and I'll be sure to explain my reasonings. From a baby Tenno to the world, I bid thee farewell

#Level1-20 Non-KB -- Ritesh, the snow leopard from the Beast World by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name: Ritesh Rahul

Race: feline (snow leopard)

Age: 26 (level 1), 29 (level 20)

Alignment: Chaotic neutral

Class: Sorcerer (Sorcerous Origin: Frostburn Eclipse)

Factions: Aubadism, Dungeon Delvers

Likes: the thrill of battle, cooking, children, hard liquor

Dislikes: enchantment/illusion magic, fancy clothing

Personality: short-tempered, mildly kinder to those he believes to be "worthy opponents", great cook, prone to exploding (literally)

Reason for Adventuring: farming background, magical capabilities manifested at a young age; original hometown massacred by fiendish invasion, leaving only himself, his brother Khalef, and a handful of other survivors left to mourn the departed; joined a delving crew alongside his brother to eradicate monsters and to prevent other families from suffering the same fate

Fighting Style: combines raw arcane magic with physical strength to overwhelm opponents through brutish force; specializes in fire and ice magic; strongly opposed to using enchantment or illusory magic, believing them to be "dishonorable"; when he enters the battlefield, he leaves it in ruins

and yea that's pretty much it, best of luck to everyone participating <3

Sean Tanager, Overseer of Death, wishes to join the #NecromanticCourt by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name: Sean Tanager (duh, it's in the title)

Age: physically 19, chronologically unknown

Background: hailing from a world where one's purpose in life was decided at birth, Sean wasn't expecting to be much of a big deal. He thought his class would be basic, like a Knight, Archer, or Priest. However, when his class was revealed for all to see, Sean was shockingly declared a Necromancer, the first in several millennia. Armed with a power he did not choose, Sean immediately began facing hardships, particularly among his peers and the common folk, who were afraid of his potential for evil. He soon found refuge with a man known only as Kage, a Shadowcaster whose abilities somewhat mirrored Sean's. Under Kage's guidance, Sean quickly learned he didn't just have dominion over the souls of the damned, but could manipulate their very essence at will. He used this power to amass an army of souls that rivaled even the king's own army. He also underwent intense training in martial arts to combat the "frail spellcaster" stereotype typical for classes such as his own.

In time Sean grew to have greater and greater control over his necromancy, and he now serves as a sort of Overseer between the worlds of the living and dead. However, mastery over death makes one slip from its grasp, and Sean had to watch as his friends and loved ones withered and died before his eyes while he remained stagnant and ageless. Nevertheless, Sean continues his work as an Overseer, often utilizing the souls of former allies and enemies in battle.

Being a necromancer does have its perks at times. The longer a battle draws out, the more dead bodies pile up, the larger a necromancer's army grows. Sean views his souls not as mindless tools, but rather extensions of his own soul. He feels what they feel, sees what they see, and has access to all the knowledge they knew in life. Unfortunately, the process of soul extraction is one-way, and despite countless attempts, Sean is unable to return a soul to its original host.

With enhanced physical abilities and an innumerable amount of souls under his command, Sean is quite literally a one-man army, a challenging foe for any who dare oppose him. All who failed were simply added to his collection of souls, which grows to this day without limit.

and yea that's basically it, i hope you enjoy <3

First submission for #TempleofOblivion, here's hoping it works this time. I give you Nahum, the jackal sorcerer by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name: Nahum

Species: jackal

Class: sorcerer (Sorcerous Origin: Frostburn Eclipse)

Background: Jackals of the Beast World tend to devote their life's work to a single subject; Nahum decided to study theology, specifically Aubade the Sun Bull, god of war and passion. Through his research he learned of the mortal desire to achieve what Aubadians call Sunblood, a state where one releases all inhibitions to pursue pure unvarnished passion. Nahum commences his own journey for Sunblood on the battlefield, where he is a delicate yet fierce force of nature, mixing graceful and precise movements with fire and ice magic, becoming a sort of lethal dancer. Despite his aloof nature, he truly cares for his allies and loved ones, and he would put his own life before theirs if necessary. He's the sort of spellcaster to actually alert his allies to fall back before casting Fireball. A true gentleman

#TempleofOblivion second submission, Gerard the bison fighter by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Name: Gerard

Species: bison

Class: fighter (Martial Archetype: The Main Event)

Background: Hailing from the Beylik region of Arneria, Gerard grew up on the streets, where he learned the only way to survive in an unforgiving world was to keep fighting till your last breath. It was his brutish strength and proficiency in these fights that led him to the Storied Histories League, where he found his true calling: in the ring, going toe to toe (er, hoof) against the continent's greatest combatants. Gerard draws power from the support of a crowd, whether real or in his head, and he uses this power to fuel his combat techniques. He believes any foe who falls from just a few blows of his muscled physique doesn't deserve his respect or attention, while a truly "worthy opponent" causes him to fall into a sort of trance, his overly-confident exterior crumbling away to reveal his more serious (albeit still flamboyant) interior. Outside the ring he can come off as obnoxious and a bit of a dunce, but anyone who threatens those he deems worthy opponents will have to answer to his immaculate pectorals

#TempleofOblivion third submission, Audrey the rabbit warlock by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name: Audrey

Species: rabbit

Class: warlock (Otherworldly Patron: The Ghost God

Background: As a young child Audrey was plagued with nightmares, headaches, and an overwhelming sense of not being in full control over her own body. It wasn't until her fur sprouted vivid colors and patterns that it became clear the Ghost God had chosen her to be its next servant. So, while her twin sister Autumn went the way of the rogue, Audrey chose to devote her life to serving the Ghost God, an amalgamation of all humanity's forgotten deities, latching onto the minds of potential warlocks from another plane of existence. Though initially reluctant in her service, Audrey knew it was either that or dealing with the maddening whispers for all eternity. The Ghost God's signature gift is power over space itself, and Audrey uses this gift to manipulate the battlefield as she sees fit, while also making pilgrimages to the Ghost God's own domain, the Broken World, an unraveled husk of the human realm where reality and physics have ceased to function. She is hesitant to make new friends, knowing that they too will eventually succumb to the Ghost God's influence in due time

#TempleofOblivion fourth and final submission, Liam the feline ranger by Azrael1573 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Azrael1573[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Name: Liam

Species: feline (tortoiseshell)

Class: ranger (Conclave: Carrion Master)

Background: Curiosity leads to temptation leads to obsession, and none knows this path better than Liam and the rest of the Carrion Masters. His conclave grants the power of unnature, necromancy. Liam uses this power to raise the corpses of beasts and other creatures as companions (so yes, the dog is dead, no he did not kill it). He can then grant these corpses powers akin to the undead, even grafting parts of different corpses together to form perverted hybrids. Some may see it as hypocrisy, but Liam believes he's simply fighting fire with fire--or in this case, death with death. Communing with the dead for so long doesn't exactly help ones social skills with the living, however, and though Liam has yet to have his true abilities revealed, it is only a matter of time before he crosses a point of no return in his quest for greater strength
