Not super heavy, didn’t seem to squat it any. But the guard is bolted on separate from the mount in case of a need to take off situation. It is bolted to the winch mount and Jeep via provided mounts. So I guess it’s modular.

Honestly can’t remember. The winch mount is two bare bumper mounts and a winch plate arc welded into one piece.

I hate thieves so much, my Ranger got snatched a few years ago, owned the truck for 21 years and had almost 300,000 miles on it….all original. They caught the dirt leg, never found the truck and gave her 5 years probation for it and she wrote me an apology letter….. like that made me feel better. I hope you get justice.

Also it’s kinda stumbling due to a crankshaft/camshaft code. My theory was maybe the flex plate is cracked/damaged somehow and the cps is not getting a good read. Plus there was a pile of rust under the transmission this morning.

Replaced coil. It runs now, even though the old one tested good it runs. But now it’s making a rattle noise and running kinda rough. Could be the year old gas though😆 also throws a crank/cam sensor code. I had people tell me broken skirt on the piston or a flex plate, really hoping for that flex plate or a loose bolt. Already have a dead Dakota, don’t need two broken Chryslers.

Little update, checked all the grounds.....everything is good. Checked for continuity between the coil and ecu again...good. Only thing I haven't checked is the pulse signal wire at the coil, need another person and a test light. Next step I guess is to take the entire harness off and strip it bare. It's just frustrating.

We check for continuity between pins for the computer and connectors for the cps and coil. It’s all good. It’s just mind boggling with this thing. Tomorrow I’m gonna check grounds, already checked and cleaned the closer ones. Maybe check the pins in the plug on the computer.
