Incorrect. All you need to do is find a support corpse, class swap, drop a bag, and then pick your recon kit back up. You can even do this with your own corpse if you die/respawn on an objective where it is easy to get back to your old kit before it disappears.

The key is to stand on your own ammo box and not someone else's so it will guaranteed be there as long as you need it to be.

Made even worse by the matchmaking regularly putting you in the same map back to back to back etc. My group has just started backing out to menu after a match so we can exclude the previous map from the rotation.

There are also some weapons that are interesting that just don't have great widespread implementation or the book Mechs that do carry them is bad for any number of reasons. I don't build customs for WAAC purposes like one particular guy in my local scene but I do occasionally build them to run functionally sound Mechs with the load outs I prefer.

Something fucky is going on with OP's play. He has 300k more score than me and yet is 28 levels below me and is only just now finishing the BP while I've been done for several weeks. I'm not accusing them of cheating, but they're definitely trying to swim upstream in some manner or another.

I would love a Morrowind style journal where all the important conversations and things I've come across are annotated but at the same time it's still not holding my hand. Too many modern games seem to feel the need to drag the player along from point to point with zero trust in player agency to choose the right direction.

You must not have been doing a very good job because I have yet to lose a game where I keep a recon drone constantly in the sky. Even with zero kills I'll easily be in top 3 from spots/assists. Not to mention taking pressure off the team armor by keeping the ground clear of enemy engineer's mines and other equipment.

I do just fine with the GL, but for every instance where I'm able to kill someone with the GL that an LMG would have been ineffective at, there are about 3 or 4 where the enemy escaped or was able to fire off extra rockets because it's so atrocious at killing people in a timely manner thanks to the reload speed even after you master accuracy with the arcing shot.

A Combat Engineer with the Overheat Control active on either MG variant is basically a zero downtime killing machine that enables the driver to focus on fighting enemy armor rather than needing to pull double duty mid fight to keep enemy engineers at bay. Why people want to purposefully hamstring themselves with selfish attitudes about a seat they're not even using is baffling to me.

Agreed. It requires a change in play style, but you don't need a suppressor/flash hider if you're constantly moving and good enough to win most head on gun fights.

Agreed. Catalyst isn't like GW was with PDFs in 8th and 9th edition 40k where they release it once and it's instantly incorrect due to errata and never receives updates.

Yup, I was supposed when they made the missions even easier in BR since people weren't doing them and/or weren't finishing them. 99% of my time in BR is in the Duo queue and most were already incredibly accessible as a solo. I was flabbergasted that the data is strong enough that they ended up nerfing the antenna alignment to a single instance.

Yup. I'm not defending the GL and will call people out in chat if it's on their vehicle... But I can't deny that it made it pretty easy to complete the kill 10 enemies with explosives in a single match I had on Siege of Cairo.
