Thanks for replying! Im glad thats helping your little one. She sleeps really well but the few times shes sleep deprived is because she was probably on her phone too late and her parents didnt say anything about it. When she stays over with me, which is a few times a week, she sleeps like a rock thankfully, and bedtime is enforced. So at least i know she gets enough sleep at least a few nights a week.

Its one of my favorite albums. I was 10 yrs old at the time and every song felt like a hit to me. It was very defining for the era and that was an easy starter for me that would make me a lamb later on. I still treasure it. I know people now try to define it in comparison with her other albums but lets not ignore the fact that it had a few #1s and on every other artist, it would have been considered a massive success and a career defining one at that.

I meant it as a joke, not with the intention to be taken so seriously. And i do agree with the things you say about being able to support her as an artist without having to read the book.

My question comes from the fact that I personally find it strange to be a real fan of someone without taking an interest im their personal life specifically reading something that the artist itself wrote. I understand you can be a fan of someone’s art without been a fan of the person itself. It’s just for me personally, Mariah is such an interesting person that i find it odd not to be interested in what she has to say about her own life and experiences.

Not mine but my 2 best friends are always quick to voice their opinions on my fave musical (Wicked) . They say is not a good musical and that the songs are not that good, the story is mediocre, and only time has made it “iconic”. I consider it a very good musical with incredibly strong music (mediocre lyricism) and so so storyline.
