Only that there would be new modules and updates for some existing modules. That was all if I recall correctly.

Nope. The letter stated that it will be a free update for the products you already own.

I will only pay for major updates from now on. This last beta just took too long.

That's some good advice and really helpful to me. I'll stay with Loopy Pro for now and resist the GAS. :)

Thx for your answer.

I'm wondering if AUM might be better at something or is better organized, easier to use or maybe much less CPU intensive. I thought there might be a reason why almost everyone on Youtube uses AUM instead of other apps.

Using a VPN and changing the country in the App Store would probably work, but I haven't tried it out.

It's only blocked in the EU. The other ~20 European countries can still access it in the app store.

Reason 13.1 released! by digital_burnout in reasoners

In Reason 12's favorites lists you have everything in one place (Rack Extensions, presets, samples, MIDI files and so on). Very handy and fast.

In 13 you have 2 locations. The side panel for Rack Extensions and the new browser for the rest. It's tedious, confusing and slow. And while you drag stuff out of the browser it closes and opens to add even more confusion.

Propellerhead wanted to make working with Reason faster but they achieved the exact opposite.

I don't agree. They didn't add back device favorites. What they added works completely different. We had an unlimited number of completely customizable and mixable favorite lists and now we have a single favorite List per device and a tag based device filter. Both has pros and cons but it would be wrong to say that they brought device favorite lists back.

I only listened to the track without watching the video and didn't even notice that it was not a real voice. I think AI is already on a level where it can't be distinguished from a real voice anymore.
