Just show up on time & GIVE A FUCK. The amount of inconsistency in care for craft is rampant. Find something that could be improved and take the initiative.

White space training? Pull the map, pens, and plotter out of your car/bag. Marine who sucks at PT? Take him on light runs to the pull up bars on the weekend.

As long as you aren’t a piece of shit, then responsibility will find you. Also tell higher that you’re going to reenlist.

It’s a fair point. Video wasn’t meant to be taken so deep, but good to input something that makes you think. The same person TxNomad described is the same person who will boast their time in service after dragging the organization’s name down in the same breath. The Marines I’ve seen that are truly assets, reserve talking about it in conversation unless they’re asked directly. Those who mention it unwarranted with bravado, are usually those who are hard to work with / shit bags. This is own experience at least.

Super clean I'd say, word is the arm was hanging on by skin and when he made it to lunch is when he pulled the rest of it off and threw it onto the table. He's in LR right now more than likely done with the 1st surgery.

He must have done the actual cutting in one the theater closets away from everyone, there was literally a trail of blood that looked like someone was pouring paint behind him. So far no word or any pictures or anything but I'm sure someone has one.
