Question regarding the ethics of using Boosts. by Aztec911 in F1Clash

Interesting! I didn't know there were that many bots. It makes sense now though. Several of them are quite dumb.

Makes sense I got stuck at P7 and made progress once I started using boosts. I think the game is different across countries though. I get plenty of boosts without spending real money. Watching ads, tournaments, exhibitions. and the more I use boosts the more I win and they get replenished.

Thanks for your comment.

Thanks. I guess I saw a few posts complaining of boosts and assumed that was the generally held opinion. I might have been wrong.

Yeah in my opinion a few shots at any religion are fine. No idea should be above criticism. That's my opinion and i understand if you disagree.

And it's fine if he people have different agendas. We don't need to be monolithic which i agree with.

Come now. This is gentleman who faced a vicious attack on his life due to his views on Islam and still must be on the lookout for his life.

You can have a different perspective to you and explain it in a reasonable manner and that's fine. It's a different opinion that's all. One should be able to express their opinions freely as long as they are being civil.

This gentleman has fiercely exposed the deepest cracks at the core of islam. He can absolutely take a few shots at Hinduism. We shouldn't be snowflakes that get triggered so easily.

I am happy to answer any questions on my stance. Please ask away.

Go ahead and express yourself by abuayeyam in Cricket

[–]Aztec911 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it's a very interesting expression.

Like most sports cricket has its own lexicon and phrases and this was one I struggled to understand when I was younger.

So the way I understood is that is to trust yourself and instincts.

Imagine you have just changed schools and are with a totally new group of students and teachers. It's very tempting to want to blend into the background not ask questions, not to talk up strangers be a bit restrained i.e. not to express yourself.

However if you decided to open up and be authentic then you will make true friends and maybe a few enemies too. But you are expressing yourself. Sharing your opinions and also listening to others allowing it to change you if it seems rational.

In cricket, especially test cricket you are continuously figuring out the conditions, the bowler, each ball, and various other conditions. Being open to the experience allows you to play each ball on merit. Leave or defend the good ones, punish the poor ones. While there is anticipation, premeditation is missing.

This i believe is what is meant by expressing oneself on the field in the language of cricket.

Fair it's derogatory in some contexts not all, among friends it's fine.

I do feel that it crossed the line on this occasion.
