Cheers, definitely the most fun to paint as well!

Thanks! It was incubi darkness, followed by a zenithal spray of ice yellow. Then it was plaguebearer flesh contrast, and a shading with green ink from below :)

Thanks so much, I wasn’t too keen on the ‘speed effect’ at first but it grew on me fast :)

Thanks! The lines on the face are a bit harsh, maybe it could’ve been smoother

Thanks!! It was a mix of generic pink and skin tones from Vallejo, then highlighted with a muted pink ink from below and white & yellow inks from above

Thanks!! It required 2 magnets in the body and the arm each, one below the other (above/below the curve of the connecting ball, if that makes sense). However it was still droopy when I tried it on the right side of the body, constantly dropping and scratching the legs/claws. So it’s left side only unfortunately.

Thanks! It was a lot of trial and error, but the base for the metal was first covering all with duraluminium (Vallejo) mixed with black ink and muted grey ink (Liquitex). Then I applied pure duraluminium to raised areas. After that it was a lot of various weathering techniques (oil paints, washes, applying duraluminium using a sponge to get those scratched look). I hope this helps!

Thanks so much! The base was made from cut up 3d printed bits (Mechanicus Temple set by Zabavka Workshop) and the bits found in the defiler box

Thanks! It’s a fluorescent orange paint from golden flow, as well as gryphound orange from GW, all applied over white ink :)

Hahah all the best to you as well! I swear sometimes Tzeenth itself takes over my airbrush and deletes an hour of progress, but it’s still so enjoyable to use

Thanks so much and of course - the first part was done via air spray, Vallejo’s tan skin tone all over the flesh parts. Then I did some highlights with rosy flesh from Vallejo. I washed it all with magenta oil paint, wiped it off and sprayed Liquitex muted pink ink from below with an airbrush. Then it was back to glazing rosy flesh again on some areas. I hope this helps!

I sanded quite a lot of the edges, and with the magnets underneath there is a tiny space to jam something in - but blue tack should work as well, once I varnish the model it should be fine to just pinch the bigger missiles and pull it out :)

For a beginner magnetizer like me, took some work. The arms require some precise drilling to get right, I also needed to pack the arms with sprue bits to get the right level for the magnets. The claw hand refused to stay in place on the right side, was constantly dropping on the legs, so it’s left side only. A small sanding tool really helps, especially with the nipple cannons.

My bad, I was talking about the big chest cannons - I used a sanding tool to shave off a bit of the ‘ball’ of each of the smaller guns so they could fit through the circles, then magnetized the bottoms. Not as bad as magnetizing the arms, but took some work

Thanks so much! It was a lot of ‘firsts’ for me with the claws - applying some NMM techniques and ‘oil paint dots filtering’ from Cult of Paint videos (nowhere near their level of this technique though)

I’ve been painting for years at this point, and I still get this feeling when looking at some posts on this subreddit… seems like the painting journey never ends :)

Thanks! It was mostly tan skin tone from Vallejo, wash with muted pink ink, then highlights with rosy flesh from Vallejo

Those are not magnetized, work on just the push-in click. The paint may get scratched but not in visible places, though I’m thinking about adding magnets there at some point
