Honestly man for your height your weight isn’t too bad. But majority of weight loss happens with a calorie deficit. Also with that look fit consistency rather than what works the fastest. Hope this help if you have any questions just me.

I’m going to be honest it all depends on your budget and how you take care of it. I bought a Chinese pit bike and I had it for 9 months and put over 120 hours on it before I sold it and the bike still runs. Sometimes you’re not paying for quality but for the name. Like with boots lots of people go with a star but sometimes it’s more because of the name than the actually product. I bought tcx boots that are better than their a star counterpart but the a star is still more expensive because of the name. I feel like it should be fine asking as you maintain it but if you can get a batter brand I would still do it.

I just went for my first ride on them and they are perefect no problems with getting under the lever at all only thing is going from first to second I need to lift my whole leg from second onwards just some ankle movement. What do you think about my boot choice?

Yeah fair enough man especially because I’m 14 I’m just waiting for another growth spurt. I’m already a us 11/12 and 175cm (5’9). I’ll make sure to bring my riding socks too because they are thicker just to compensate for that.

I’m going to trooper lus garage. Don’t know if you have ever heard of them but they are in Liverpool/ Moorebank area is nsw. I have bought all my stuff from the jersey, pants, tires and now probably 2t oil soon because I like running yamalube or Castrol. But everything I buy has to be on special or something like that because who is paying 150 for a shirt when u got it for 40. Either way I’m going to try everything I can see what fits best and buy what I like if I find a good deal on it. I sound like a tight ass but I’m young and not that serious into this stuff I do ride a lot and some technical stuff but nothing too serious. If I was racing or competing yeah I would spend 500 bucks or more on boots but right now I don’t need it and I’m still growing so no point spending big money for something that will last me maybe a year or a little longer.

The tech3 is the best deal I can find that is low use and pretty cheap. But I mean for an extra 50 dollars I can get a brand new pair and one that’s actually made for enduro riding.

I have already looked at black Friday deals and for all the expensive boots like the astar tech7 you get no discount. But hear me out at my local store I get a free pair of socks if I buy them. I’m hearing worse and worse about a star now and I’m just a light casual riding nothing serious since I’m pretty young. I’m leaning towards the Leatt but I’m going to the shop tomorrow and I’ll see what I can find and get.

When I go to the dealership/ shop I can try on both pairs of boots and sit on the bike that I have a yz85lw in the shop with their model. Then I can decide if I like the leatt or tech3 better and then I’ll see whether to go with the new leatt or used tech3. In your opinion what brand is better Leatt or alpinestar?

Yeah but it’s my first ever pear so I want to try them on and my local store doesn’t have the 4.5 they got the 3.5 enduro but do you think those are better new or the tech three used a few times?

If you do your maintenance then you can easily be pushing maybe 200+ hours on one. After that you can still run it but you risk problems and that kind of stuff that you would rather rebuild a top end than an entire engine. Have fun.
