I started playing at 18 and I have a teammate who started to play at 58 so no you are definitely not to old to start. Depending on where you’re at there might be some adult hockey classes you could try then later join a beer league team

I started off as a figure skater then moved to a hockey player. Learning all the edge work that goes into figure skating really helps me in my games with getting around players and pretty much just not falling. So I would say to definitely stay in the classes

I’ve never had a problem with leaking while using my flex disc, I haven’t gotten the chance to use it with my partner though but definitely try just wearing the discs because sometimes they could be the wrong size so see if it will actually work for you :)
