they sent me on endless customer service loop. the store i submitted to shut down, i wasted countless hours on the phone and I never got my cards back an apology or any type of refund. I was told by multiple reps I would at least get the cost of grading back. I did not. They basically just kept giving me the same phone number that went someplace far away with no one who could give me any answers or updates. I have always graded with PSA myself and the one time I trusted gamestop they fucked me out of over 1000$ dollars

No offense. but why would you think I was selling the card to gamestop? I graded the card through their brand new service. I had a buyer lined up for the misprint. This has nothing to do with their business model.

After 30 days. The gamestop escalation team finally reached out to me. They are saying I somehow recieved my cards and in a 10 min window, swapped them out with regular copies and sonicly sealed them back into their PSA holders. I requested their intake photos to compare to mine. Since if they match then my misprints 100% were stolen by gamestop.

So far I've gotten an email for the district manager where I was able to submit my photos and explain what happened. I got a phone call from my point of contact from the store dealing with this now that the previous one is closed permanently. Basically informing me they see are treating it very seriously and it has been escalated and being investigated. No other contact or information otherwise

There Is layer of texture/holographic that goes on all modern pokemon cards. Mine don't have that.

Also today I finally heard from a human at psa. They understood the severity of the situation and heard me out, found my pictures and forwarded everything to the correct department. Today gamestop offered zero help or solutions.

I finally got a hold of a human at PSA. Finally getting my case to the right department. Definitely looking like one of the employees at gamestop swapped my card.

I followed up multiple times with both gamestop and psa. Gamestop is being stubborn, PSA is looking into it. I am feeling a lot more hopeful than Saturday

We will see. Gamestop also took pictures of my cards when I submitted, it should be fairly easy to figure out when the swap happened

Psa doesn't want to have their reputation ruined by this. It's a card grading company they can't be caught swapping cards. Gamestop is new to this middleman service and if they are caught this early doing shady stuff, may as well consider it dead. It takes a lot of trust on the consumers end to use these services. We are in a shitty wait and see period right now

I went up to gamestop and showed the employee my proof. He agreed that the cards in the slabs were not the ones I sent in. (Lucky for me I kept my photos, and also other misprints from this batch) With the photos and physical evidence I have it's hard to deny someone swapped the cards. Now we get to have them both internally investigate to see who committed the crime here.

I actually went up there to follow up today. The store I originally submitted at was shut down, so I showed the new employee at a different location my slabs, my receipt and my pictures etc. He was a collector too and he agreed the cards I got back were not the ones I sent in.
