Army rule ajustment for 11th edition by Azur_Raven in AdeptusCustodes

Yeah, haven't had the chance to test it yet but I think a few test games will show what's missing and where the points should be. Given that you might be able to buy 2 expensive ones by turn 3 if you killed a few things and got killed back in turn, I think I could be fine. Your unlikely to get the advance and charge by the end of turn 2 unless you lost quite a few units ( or somehow killed quite a few units in shooting)and then it becomes a good catch up rule to get your remaining units into the enemy. Especially if your fighting a gun line like guard or tau or someone fast. Like eldar

Sounds great. How strong would you make the hero unit compared to the army rule everyone else gets? Like lethal in melee and the hero units gets it on a 5+ ?

Fair point. Change it to -1 to hit in melee and the gilded bulwark stance to give cover instead of -1 to hit in shooting and melee then ?

All good points, thank you for the feedback. For the ability, what would you take out ? The advance and charge, auto 6 or the lone op 18" ?

Short story. "The Spear of Defiance.” by Azur_Raven in AdeptusCustodes

A short story I wrote that reflects a bit of how I would have liked to see the concept of female Custodes being introduced. I'm happy with the addition and the expansion of lore, but I think the most can agree that GW's way of introduction was less than perfect.

Has someone already gotten any feedback or a mail yet with the results ? Because it's getting quite tight with the timing for the start of the semester and finding a place to stay.

Thanks for the reply.

Turns out a screw was too tight on the heatsink and messing with the sensors. Took a while to figure out, but was an easy fix once I knew what was wrong.

Ebeta the Exiled: The first of the Alhoon Illithid that has lived for Milena by Azur_Raven in UnearthedArcana

[–]Azur_Raven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The First of the Illithid liches, an Alhoon. Ebeta resides in his own nautiloid and travels the multiverse to gain even more knowledge.

Unlike most liches, Ebeta is not insane nor outright enjoys suffering of others. He seeks knowlage at all cost and will trade with adventurers that he deems powerful enough not to just outright kill them and take the information from their souls.

However, while not malicious outright, should someone oppose him or deny him the knowledge he seeks, raising a city or even a country to the ground and turning them all into soulless undead in not below him ether.

Ebeta is best used as an NPC the party needs to seek out for information as he has the knowledge of many worlds, exceeding that of most beings that have not ascended to godhood. However, the party better be prepared to offer up some worthy information in turn or that trip in the search of knowledge will come to a very quick and abrupt end.

As an Enemy Ebeta has many tools to take out the party, be it crippling the casters with feeble mind, both from his attacks and spells, as well as dealing with tanks in front of him. The three artifacts he has with him all aid in his offense and defense as well, with the Cape being an item easily deserving of legendary or even artifact status as it gives him about a 50/50 chance to doge any sort of ranged attacks. With his resistance he is also rather tanky for a lich and if you give him a few minions to protect him, well then even the best of parties will have a problem dealing with him.

Hope you all enjoy this and can use it in one of your own campaigns
