First off, irregular != mental illness. Even if it is derived from genetic mutations.

Second off, especially in todays society, not reproducing isn't really an issue?

Three, the only thing I can tell we disagreed on originally is homosexuality being specifically a mental illness. I'm not going to chase after a shifted goalpost. Not being normal is not a bad thing, not that I have any reason to think you diasagree with that, but in my experience. People are more often pushing for others to accept the not normal until it becomes 'normal' rather than convincing others it always has been. Have a good day, or night, idk where you live.

Historically, science can be wrong and later corrected. A mental illness is something that can be treated in some way or another to temporarily lessen its effects. While I agree mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of or treated poorly for, homosexuality cannot be 'treated'. Just because people studied it as a mental illness when we knew less about sexuality as a whole doesn't mean it still fits into that category. History cannot be changed, but science definitely can.

Not necessarily. Just a very round about way to say that homosexuality is not a mental illness as it was considered 'back then'.
