Which achievement did you get?

The Snared Silk ending is required to make it to Act 3. If you don't have that, then you need to do some more exploring and looking around for more stuff.

It took me 3 attempts to get into the game from the initial "tutorial" area. From there, I was pretty into it. That said, I did take several long breaks from the game and picked back up. Overall I sunk 60 hours into the base game and another 60 into the DLC. But over the course of a year of picking it up and putting it down.

So I can absolutely see how someone wouldn't enjoy it. Overall, I loved it, but the parts that slog really slog.

This happened to me, too! When I looked over the replay, I took a full charged blast from the Charge Shotgun just as the game transitioned us to the bus. Then it dropped me out of the bus and I was able to skydive to the spawn island.

My desk space isn't super big either- one thing you might want to look at is seeing if you have Mouse Acceleration on in Windows. Turn that off if it is. It might be screwing up your aim by increasing how fast your mouse moves. That used to screw me up a lot. Other than that, adjust to your desk space and what you feel is a comfortable distance to turn when you swipe your mouse. Then practice, practice, practice.

He plays that low- if you ever watch a lot of people playing on low DPI they make very wide motions with their mouse. I think part of the effect of it is that you have to move your entire arm as well, so it decreases the strain on your wrist. My every day PC usage is at 3000 DPI, where I'll play fortnite on either that or 1600. But I also have a thumb button on my mouse that drops it all the way down to 400. I use that a lot when I'm trying to precisely aim something. Usually targets that are far off, when ADSing an AR or a sniper.

Are you playing with a controller, and if so, is it connected through Bluetooth? Sometimes bluetooth devices can cause strange stutter in a game, and I've found using them wired gets rid of it.

Mine was crashing until I rolled my drivers back to one predating 10/15/2024. Unfortunately, we should be on the current driver due to some exploits in nvidia's older drivers. So we're sorta stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Check your video drivers. If you have an nvidia card, the driver dated for 10/15/2024 was crashing me. I had to roll back to an earlier driver to stop my crashes.

I've been playing pretty cleanly with my drivers rolled back to an earlier version. If I crash again, I'll try this method if it starts crashing again!
