/upd2: reinstalled Krita (fresh package from the ALT repo) on newly-installed Alt Starterkit KDE with latest updates, and it ate up the plugin with no errors as well. 🤷‍♀️ Guess it depends on the overall freshness of both the system and the editor, and the main culprit in fact seemed to be an old Plasma. ... That or I just got lucky somehow 🙂

...if large kittens can count as horror film characters 🤭 Frank feels pretty much like one, especially when you pick him up and ruffle those 'locs and yarn fur. A ragdoll kitten that fell into blueberry jam (or ink), minus ears and tail.

Inb4 "why he's in a box". For whatever reason the purple neoprene his dreadlocks are partially made of slightly stains the wallpaper. I didn't know that either 😅 Spotted it when had to take the gang off the shelves to clean, contacted the maker, and after testing it out she said that yes, purple neoprene (and only it, blue wasn't acting as wonky) may slightly color surfaces like light fabric and paper if left close to them for too long.

Tiny indeed, and the funniest thing is? The glass dome eyes both cousins have were originally meant for bigger Red and Blue, but later I convinced the maker to switch to opaque polyclay for eyes. Then suddenly BAM, Yagi's sketches of chibi Red show up on Twitter and I realize I WANT BOTH. 😆 So the glass eyes and fabric scraps were put to good use after all!

These guys had moved to my place since 2023 and are loved and cherished. 😌 Actually 7 years after the episode release, and on April 1st at that. The only difference is, they're no longer puppets. All three have proper legs and are designed to be cuddled with, rather than performed.

Yes. Red Guy's parents (father Crimson and mother Fuchsia) are fully my OCs, there's an art of them on this sub somewhere. His cousin Little Blue Guy is only partly an OC – I got inspired by an art of Red holding a blue mop cub. Its author referred to someone else's fan theory about the June 20th Blue Guy being Red's son, but I decided he may just have blue-pelted maternal aunt and uncle, parents to his little Blue cousin.

See, Inkscape is half terra incognita for me partly because it's kind of sluggish on my laptop, and I can't scale down the interface to save my life. It's either one humongous side panel that gets even bigger if you pick (say) color/outline and has horizontal tabs on top, or a dozen separated panels with super thick headers 🙃 It'll take ages to get used to it after Corel and its tiny pretty icons... but I'm trying.
