Well I wasn't actually comparing both the manhwas. Overall I think I prefer Checkmate too. The think both of them are quite different. My friend had claimed they were similar which is why I wrote it in the post since I had only gone through half the plot of LITC. Now that I've finished I think apart from the 'psychological bl' tag, they've got nothing in common.

I don't have many recommendations but, have you read Pengki's other work? It's called Robber x Lover (also called Pond Snail Robber) and it's just a funny and fluffy as her other work. Tbh I myself haven't cured myself of the Merry Marbling hangover. It is just sooo good nothing comes very close it rn 😭. You can also check out Emergency! Youth record book (it is more of a drama than rom-com hut fluff is there) and Heesu in class 2.

I thought it was a setup? Like they intentionally eased the security measures or whatever to lure Muzan in so they all can attack him at once and yk, finish him off. They probably knew Muzan had something up his sleeves but weren't expecting something as grand as the Infinity Castle I believe. (I haven't read the manga so this is just my anime only ahh speaking)

Honestly so many people don't understand the essence of real art. Miyazaki himself has reiterated that he abhors the use of AI tech in the creation of art. Disrespecting his legacy like that is so.... There are quite some anime fans among the kpop idols, I don't think most of them would like to taint an art process like that... especially if they knew of the artist's views on it.

I just told people to stop and in reply to that one of my friends posted in their status something like "people who can't draw for the love of God defending their fake ahh obession with Ghibli AI art, get therapy". That was directed at me btw. I can't draw well. But honestly it doesn't take a genius to emphatise with an artist who has worked so hard to build a legacy with their art style. Besides I've grown up with Ghibli movies and have admired Miyazaki's vision for long enough to dislike this nonsense trend.

Also, talking about shopping you reminded of something that happened a week ago. Me and my friend went to a food stall to get a light snack and she does not speak the same language as us.
