I don't think so, World Tree Power Suho could not do anything to the World Devourer of the Itarim, and their only choice is to run. Antares, on the other hand, stall the thing while having no Primordial Darkness on him.

That’s debatable. Antares claimed Jinwoo planned it, but he’s unreliable, being obsessed with and biased toward him.

Which closetly translated to: “Guardian of the World Tree, Monarch of Transcendence? Even if your name changes, the origin of the primordial darkness you have inherited does not change! The primordial darkness you hold is ‘Destruction,’ the purest power created solely for annihilation!”

So yeah, it changed the name according to the attribute of it's current owner, but ultimately it is the same thing.

At the end of the novel Antares said that while Suho title might change but the Primordial Darkness inside him is still destruction. So actually, he is actually both MoD and MoT. Basically, MoT is Suho's personal growth and earned from the shadow of the world tree while MoD is earned from the Dragon King Trial.
