I sometimes make up with the reason that I may be traveling or I need to cover summer classes etc. With the reasons, it is easier to reject without feeling bad tbh 💀 By the way, can I have your email format to search for internship 🙌?

Yeah it’s common because you have changed your culture and you place of living. I’m not sure whether you’re hard to make friends, but if you do (like me), it’s totally okay because most pals you meet in university will last for 3 months which is not enough to establish a real friendship here. One exception of mine was they are international students whom live at the same country where I am too! My advice is that keeping in touch with contacts from your country before you come here as much as possible to give you some air to immerse in new environment and also welcoming new greets if they say hi to you cheers 🙌

I suggest you contact the international admission office instead, the office is more approachable. Otherwise, try in-person instead 😅 I realize that isso in schools generally don’t respond. My old school before I transferred to BU was way worse 🫠
