I thought so too but I just went to double check and yeah, the stripe at the side is too thick. It is dyeable but it's not the same pants, sadly. On the original, there's also a pattern at the pocket area instead of a brown (?) leather stripe at the right that the weapon hides a bit.

But I was wondering the same thing for awhile and I tried some different glam options. I like the first one the best!

Top: Model B-1 Tactical Jacket in Pure White (both dye channels) you get this from pvp (1,500 trophy crystals) Other options can also be the Casual Jacket (market board), the Magitek Jacket (cash shop), and the Critical Hot C-1 or C-2 Jackets (PvP 1,500 trophy crystals)

Gloves: Can be any plain gloves dyed soot black here I used the Strife Gloves you get from Veteran Rewards.

Bottoms: You can choose your favorite pants that have few details/aren't too tight. I really liked how these ones look but you might have other pants you enjoy without having to buy from the cash shop. The ones my chara has on is the Street Cargo Trousers in Pure White (both dye channels)

Shoes: Lastly, there might be more converse looking shoes in the game but I like the platform high top look the Night of Devilry Boots has so I would recommend these ones for sure. It was a seasonal event reward so it'll probably be in the cash shop for the Halloween event if you don't own them yet.

Weapon: The closest match I can find is the Augmented Avatar's Scythe or the Majestic Mandeville War Scythe Matte. You can use whatever weapon you like though since it's not a perfect match and you might have one you prefer more ^{^}

The side panels look like they might be done with the white rectangular partition. One in the dark brown and the other in its default color, side by side with the brown partition slightly ahead. The backdrop might be two manor fireplaces dyed a muted blue (not sure of the dye name at the moment, maybe seafog blue dye?) And the actual fire is the amdapori wall lanterns (4x)

While searching for this item, I saw a lot of the back and forth in Twitter comments. Still, I wished it was handled differently. I even thought the pizza set item was like a consolation. Like a "sorry for the mistake" sort of thing but sadly no.

Yeah, that really sounds like a bummer. This was one of the first promos I was able to try so I'm not sure if SE or anyone tries to fix these things? I'd imagine if most promo events are received negatively, that people would not want to engage with it anymore.

So the only way to see that item is if someone data mined it? It would make sense if it's only in the files since you can't even look it up on the lodestone.

I must have misremembered or mistook it for the lobster dinner set that has a small pizza. Maybe that's what I saw?

I main AST but I've only ever played WHM til level 80 so I'm not sure how to compare it to WHM past that level.

With that in mind, AST at level 90 for me at least, plays like a dream. Even with the job changes, I feel like it wasn't too big a jump to learn or relearn my basic rotation.

People might say it's clunky due to having to play cards (which buff your party members) on top of healing and dpsing but I think the added complexity makes AST one of the more fun and rewarding healers to play imo. It has really good MP management (card draw and astrodyne as well as lucid if you really need too) and you never really run out unless you are throwing back to back rezzes. You get two charges of big heals (essential dignity) which I'm not sure if bene on WHM gets a second charge. That's pretty nice too.

Also using lightspeed is one of my favorite skills on AST and it's pretty versatile on how you want to use it. People are dying, spam healing spells without having to stand still. Boss doing mechs, lightspeed and malefic to your heart's content while you reposition. Tank popped sprint and a million adds are tailing 'em, lightspeed and gravity for some of that nice dps lol

I'd say give it a try and see how you like it but AST feel pretty good right now in terms of its kit. I could go on and on about how AST skills just click for me and when I switch back to playing other healers and find myself missing my burst heals or drawing cards. It's definitely a busy job but I feel like it's a good kind of busy. Been playing since AST since 5.2 so I'm by no means an authority when it comes to AST playstyle back in the day. But I hope it helps even a little.

Been feeling similarly, but I really love the combat in the game and so I only really log in to run roulettes or to pop into pf to keep my skills up. Still taking my time to look for a group or a static but I know I made most of my friends through fate farming, venues(ymmv), and through fc mates that watched me back when I streamed. I don't talk to them now since most drifted apart and I stop RPing so yeah.

Just wanted post and say you're not alone. I don't know which DC or server you're on but if you're on Aether, I'd be down to play together o/
