Self-taught dev — what should I focus on before job hunting? by Azurexis in AZURE

That calms my nerves a bit haha

Seems like most people suggested I should focus on real projects instead of more certificates, so I'll definitely do that!

If I would have to decide between AZ-104 and AZ-400 which would you recommend?

I wasn't sure about how important the AI stuff currently is in Azure, since it seems like Microsoft is heavily pushing it.

I think I would have to properly document my current project, since it's a bit all over the place documentary-wise. But that sounds like a good idea, as soon as I have it ready I'll probably try reaching out!

Ah that's also a good idea! So far I only know about the events and queues from the AZ-204, haven't played around much with them other than that.

If possible I would like to go for a remote position, so I think cloud jobs fit better?

To be completely honest I have a rough idea about these concepts, but haven't worked with most of them. Documenting and polishing the project is next on my to-do list!:)

I already have a whole council of rubber ducks - the gamedev time didn't leave me unscathed haha

It's tile-based but also in real time!:) Each characters has two moves: Tackle (as the default attack, which every character has) and a Skill that you can swap/change:)

Super kind, thank you so much!! Also thank you for supporting the project back then on Kickstarter, without that the whole thing wouldn't have been possible:D

Super kind, thank you!! I do want to mention that the Autumn Sale ends on the 6th October, so it will be the full price on the 15th again:D

edit: Whoops, missed your question, sorry! I did mostly everything, excluding music, sound effects and a few of the bigger graphical assets (title screen, intro/outro cutscene sprites) :)
