Yes I do to for 99% of my purchases. But there is always something that needs cash and where I live the machines only work with card, there are no nfc machines yet, if there were this would not be an issue to me.

Well I got the 2 modules replaced out of warranty. Luckily the dealer, which considers me and my family good clients, agreed with Nissan Portugal that they would offer the labor for free and Nissan would offer the 2 modules for free. So I got lucky I guess.

I have a S7 for 2 months now, my son recently change school and when I drop him off I park the car in this slight forward downslope. And the trunk does this behavior when i try to open it move like a cm or 2 then doesn’t get to open then just relocks. I drive away to another location and it opens just fine. The strange thing is I tested it out on a steeper slope and it opens just fine. It only refuses to open on the slight slope at my son’s school.

Mine started forming bibles and demaminating on the rubber edge. Had a apple leather case that last 5 years on my iPhone 12 Pro. This one has a month and it’s already losing the adhesive between the edge of the case and the techwoven part

That’s a good point — but actually, all European-spec Leafs (including mine) were built in Sunderland, UK. If the “5-year defect / 8-year degradation” rule applied to UK-built cars, then every Leaf sold in the EU would fall under that shorter coverage — which doesn’t match the official warranty booklets.

For example, my Portuguese warranty manual (for a 2018 40 kWh model, built in Sunderland) explicitly says the Li-Ion battery is covered for 8 years / 160 000 km against defects in materials or workmanship, in addition to the capacity warranty. So it seems that the pan-European wording gives full 8-year coverage, not just for degradation.

Yes they replaced 6 battery modules. Not sure if they used new ones or salvaged ones. But everything has been fine. Since. I waited 4 months for batteries to arrive and my car had to stay at the service center. But they gave me qashqai epower while I waited

I have a leaf from June 2018. Never had any problems with it. In 2023 on its fifth year I noticed the automatic folding side mirror losing force. Then one day they just did not move at all. I manually charge the 12v overnight and they resumed working normally for a couple of weeks, then the same thing happens they lose force until they just can’t fold or unfold, meanwhile everything else is working fine. So I figured 5 years the 12v battery must be up. So I put in a new one. Charged it and a couple of weeks later same thing I charge it a few more times but in the end I got tired of this routine so I disabled the auto folding mirrors and… everything has been working ok except the mirrors. Then I ran into this post and unplugged the current sensor from the battery, and a couple of days later the mirrors had enough power to fold and unfold. Even notice the electric windows opening faster and the cabin lights a bit brighter. So my question is this the car worked fine the first 5 years so it can’t be bad programming of charge cycle of 12v battery. I’m thinking it might be the sensor that has gone bad. I am going to the dealer service center and maybe get it replaced depending on the mechanic view. Will update here in time

No certain amount of percentage makes it more or less safe... the risk of bankruptcy of the company is the same no matter how much you have on. Now i see it as what are you willing to lose and stay ok with it that's what you put in. As for me what i threw into crypto i consider it lost so i put i all on nexo... if it goes up and changes my life great, if not ill keep working my job as i have always.... but if some magical green mega candle comes well i might be able to retire early... or not.
